If you’re craving BBQ and shabu-shabu style dining. The experience is fun because you can grill the meat yourself, enjoy different sauces, and take your time eating with friends or family. The food is tasty, the variety is good, and it feels worth it when you want a filling meal. I also like the casual atmosphere — simple, comfortable, and easy to enjoy. Definitely a good spot for BBQ lovers and a nice place to come back to when you want a proper all-you-can-eat style meal.
View on GoogleThis all-you-can-eat buffet Japanese restaurant is one of my favorite restaurant in Denpasar. The name Hanamasa signifies Growing Flower which relates to the history of the establishment created by Yasiro Ono, a successful meat merchant in Japan, and had since expanded and grew the restaurant chains to other countries like Korea, China and Mongolia, including in Indonesia. Located in Jl Drupadi in Renon, the buffet restaurant have plenty of spaces inside to cater to different group of customers. The atmosphere is pleasing and have ample of natural lighting shining the interior spaces, therefore you feel right at home. The restaurant have a simple layout, a pretty straight-forward demarcations with the closes to the windows are used for chairs and tables while the inner sides for food displays or stalls. You can choose from an array of yakiniku and shabu-shabu dishes there and bring them to the table to grill or simmer. For me, the best time go to there is during the late afternoon, at 3 pm after everybody else had their lunch. But my advice is, before going to the restaurant, it is best to check, well ahead of time, with the management if they have seats availble for you. Especially during the weekends when the restaurant can be quite full. Cheers, YW.
View on GoogleHaving lived in Jakarta before, Hanamasa was always a go-to spot, and I love that Bali still has one whenever I get nostalgic! Perfect spot for an all-you-can-eat Yakiniku and Shabu-Shabu feast with family or friends. Great meat options, iconic sauces, and classic comfort food vibes.
View on GoogleMeat was average, wide range of option to grill from. Tom yum broth was a tad bit salty but overall good, wide range of fish and meatball options to choose from. My favorite would be the grilled gindara (black cod) from the live cooking station and their grilled shitake, both coated in teriyaki sauce. Live cooking station also offer yakitoris and tempura. Also fried rice. Takoyaki was decent, crispy shell, soft fillings with generous toppings. Cassava dessert and mango pudding was my favorite, lots of other desserts to choose from.
