We had lunch here as we were staying close by. It is a great local warung where a lot of locals were visiting. Our lunch was great local food.

This warung charges 3x higher price for tourists. I saw locals pay 10,000 IDR for a plate of nasi campur. For nasi campur, I paid 25,000 IDR (including soup and a drink) the first time I came here and 35,000 IDR (two drinks and no soup) the second time I came to this warung. I do not come from a strong currency country like the USA or the UK, but I don't mind helping locals. However, I value honesty, and any discrepancies made me have less interest in pursuing in the future. Besides, the skinnier lady who served me the second time (the one who charged me exponentially high) isn't as friendly as the older shorter lady (ibu). The price of fried battered banana 🍌 is 5000 IDR for 2 pieces. For where I come from, it's a tourist price. For 35000, I'd rather spend it on a cleaner restaurant in Sanur. Locals here use hand to choose and pick the food. If you are concerned about hygiene, this might not be your place. I believe this is common in any local warung. The food tasted delicious, the sambal was good and not spicy enough for my taste buds, the drink was okay. The warung gets warmer in the afternoon as it doesn't have a/c. I will not return.

Had a great meal here last night (nasi goreng and some fish). It was very well cooked and tasted amazing. The warung is on a little quiet side street so it was peaceful to eat away from the hustle and bustle. Everyone was very pleasant to us. I would go back again.
