A wonderful hidden gem for authentic Balinese food that is affordable and a gorgeous place to dine. It looks and feels like a small temple and the food is 10/10! FOOD Delicious and arrived quickly. Ordered the cassava fries ( which were a delight and have a satisfying crunch), as well as the crispy pork belly which was divine. The sauce that came with this was incredible, one of the best sauces I ever had. The Asian garden salad was a delight and the flavours went so well together. Then we had the chicken noodles which were very filling, rich, and incredible. SERVICE Staff speaks great English and they are very friendly. They came quickly and were very helpful answering all our questions. ATMOSPHERE It looks like an old Balinese temple but made into a restaurant just enough that they still have accents of stone. Lots of tables and can accommodate parties. Gorgeous. Highly recommend!

You MUST visit this place! This is what you call a hidden gem. When you’re walking down the street, this place will not really stand out, but behind the walls, a quiet, nice restaurant reveals itself. It’s so authentic and cozy, just like the food. There is not a lot of choice on the menu, but I’ll bet that everyone would like the food that is being served. The food was amazing, especially for the price, wow. When you’re staying in Sanur, visit Warung Saro

The food at Warung Saro is absolutely delicious. The highlight for me was the braised pork belly—cooked in coconut oil, giving it an incredible depth of flavor and aroma. The satay was also super tender, paired with a rich peanut sauce that tastes premium, not cheap at all. A must-try!

Love love love the food!!! We ordered nasi goreng bali, pork skewers, dry chicken noodle and crisphy pork belly. All of them tasted so goodddddd! The place is also very homey. Sometimes it’s full of people but somehow doesn’t feel too crowded at all. We are two satisfied customers!

If you’re looking for a spot that nails both the vibes and the food, Warung Saro is a must-visit. The Atmosphere & Decor The first thing you notice is the unique decor. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design; it feels intentional, stylish, and incredibly welcoming. Whether you're catching up with friends or just want a cool place to decompress, the atmosphere here is top-tier. The Food Now, let’s talk about the Dry Chicken Noodle. It was absolutely delicious! The noodles had the perfect texture, and the seasoning was spot on—savory, flavorful, and totally satisfying. It’s easily one of those dishes you’ll find yourself craving again the next day. The cocmut rolls and the banana fritters are absolutely delicious! Bottom line: Great aesthetics, even better food. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
