A lovely restaurant that felt special for my birthday, well looked after by August, we enjoyed it so much we came back for our last night in Bali. And we said hello to August again 😊 The location of the tables on the beach is great, lighting perfect with the hanging lanterns, and there is plenty of choice on the menu. I loved their soto ayam especially but all their food was delicious. Cocktails beforehand were also lovely.
View on GoogleGreat breakfast and great location. I had the oatmeal, fried eggs, and masala tea. They give you a little pot for tea and coffee and the chi tea was very tasty. Also, great view of the ocean, not too many people hanging out in front of the view. I highly recommend checking this place out.
View on GoogleThe location is fantastic, right next to the beach, and the restaurant itself is pretty. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. It definitely has more of a hotel restaurant feel than somewhere you go for a genuine Indonesian dining experience. It was our last night in Bali and I was really looking forward to one last good Indonesian meal. Sadly, it was a real disappointment. My chicken breast in coconut cream arrived cold and was seriously lacking in flavour. My husband’s nasi campur was better, but neither of us felt the food justified the prices. The service was attentive, although the constant attempts to upsell became a little tiresome. When we arrived, we were told there were no tables available, despite there clearly being several empty ones. We were invited to wait in the bar and order drinks and snacks until a table became available. We did exactly that — only to discover that a glass of Two Islands wine came with a very familiar New Zealand price tag! Overall, it felt like we were paying premium prices for a fairly average experience. The location and setting are lovely, but sadly the food, pricing and overall experience just didn’t live up to expectations. After three weeks travelling around Bali and eating at some fantastic little warungs and restaurants, this was probably our most disappointing meal. Definitely not one we’ll be rushing back to.
View on GoogleOur dinner here is amazing. It was a great evening, well done presentation, tasty, and amazing ambience. Some tables are already reserved, we just walked in, and we got table inside, it was no wait. We will come back again!
View on GoogleOur dinner last night was wonderful! The flavors were multi-textured, the service was kind and friendly, and the sea view added to the beauty of the experience. We appreciated the vegetarian options. We look forward to returning again soon!
