We had the best time at the Pavillions. We booked two garden villas for us and a family member. Both of them were near the main pool - very beautiful, serene and although the layouts were different, both felt luxurious, old Bali style with a soul. Some highlights: - fantastic staff, every one of them was very kind and helpful- cleaners, guards, restaurant staff, reception staff. First we met with Eric - the driver from the Pavillions, who was very punctual, friendly and shared lots of useful information about the hotel and the island and gave great recommendations for trips a d restaurants. He also ensured a seem-less check-in and we did not even have to go to the reception. - the administration and the reception are top notch. They use WhatsApp for business and promptly respond to queries and were most accommodating. Before arrival they also sent a very helpful message with all the official links for visa and all other entry requirements, which was very thoughtful. - villas themselves have a beautiful style - all unique it seems. Our one garden villa had a small pool (although we thought garden villas were not supposed to have them - nice surprise) and another had a beautiful pond with koi fish. Strong air conditioning, clean and beautiful bathrooms. - I loved the à la carte breakfast, c 20 options (each person could select two) plus fruit, bread, juices, coffees etc. Delicious. - location in Sanur could not be better - it felt magically quiet, but once you step out, you are surrounded by the best resort infrastructure plus few minutes away from the hotel there is a new mall - which boasts a huge selection of international and local brands, a great supermarket and various restaurants all around it. Generally a great number of restaurants close to the hotel which are both cheap by European standards and very good.
View on GoogleServices were excellent.Just one point that made the stay not so comfortable is :The hotel hang black and white photos of people on wall beside bed.
View on GoogleThe Pavilions Bali is amazing place. The address is on main drag jalan Danue Tambelingan road but the location of the villas is away from the busy road, we stayed in villa 23 and there's no noise coming from the main drag. The staff, location, breakfast and amenities were just great although there are no reviews about their amazing spa and their lovely spa staff Dwi and Redi, the spa experience was out of this world. Dwi and Redi were so attentive and their massages were the best ever we have experienced.
View on GoogleWe stayed at The Pavilions as a family of 4 travelling from England in October 2025. We had an amazing time, and couldn't find fault with the service we received. We arrived to find our room containing some lovely presents (it was our 35th anniversary). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who really do work incredibly hard (in very hot conditions) and always with a smile. I've been reading the reviews, and occasionally there are one or two bad reviews (it was ever thus🙄). Unfortunately, wherever you stay, their will always be someone who's not happy with the service, and in fairness to the Pavilions, running at such a high level of service is no mean feat. As a family, we had a great time, and hope to return to this wonderful place. Well done to all the staff at The Pavilions (especially Mega and Yogi!) and we'll hopefully see you again soon.
View on GoogleWhat an absolutely fabulous place to have spent the last few days. We’re mid 30s with a 2 year old and we had the best stay at The Pavillions. The service is impeccable, they have everything you could want and nothing is too much to ask. They are so helpful and the place runs so smoothly. Everything is very reasonably priced for the service you get. (Massage was amazing but on the expensive side). The hotel is a few minutes walk from The Mall that allows you direct access to the beach and it means you’re never far away from aircon. We would love to visit Sanur & the Pavillions again
