The best and most authentic Japanese restaurant I've tried in Sanur so far. The service and food are impeccable. When I ordered the otoro sashimi, they brought me small sample sizes to test. They would serve the sashimi only after I am satisfied with the sample quality. Every dish is perfect. My favourite is the fried rice. So much wok hei, and the rice doesn't clump together.

Takeaway order review. I had the salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, fatty tuna (otoro) nigri. Salmon was tasty and soft, tuna was average. The otoro was chewy and in my opinion inedible for what it should be. I spat it out, per my picture. The rice had a slightly strange consistency, maybe slightly overcooked? The nigiri were quite large. With my 6 pieces of nigiri, one (6 piece) roll and soup, I was full. I also had the spicy tuna roll, which was spicy haha, but not in a flavourful way as well as having other dry rub ingredients the tuna was lost and the spice was not anything but spice. The miso soup was really nice, a good amount of seaweed and silky tofu. Lots of wasabi (not real wasabi, but horseradish paste) which I love. Generous amount of ginger. 3 packets of soy, which was about one packet short for me. It was overall average, the otoro was an expensive let down. I would try another restaurant before ordering here again as I've not had anything to compare it to.

5 nights in Sanur and we had dinner here twice. Food is exceptional and great value. We had pork belly and squid for entrees, chicken katsu ( this is fantastic and very large portion) and a beef curry (over 2 nights). Staff are lovely and remembered us from our visit 2 nights earlier. Till next time!

INCREDIBLE! Incredible food, incredible cocktails, incredible staff, incredible atmosphere. The menu was extensive and offered everything you could want and more, the drinks menu was just as wonderful - delicious cocktails. But the staff really made it amazing, they were beyond friendly and accomodating, especially with our 2 year old. The price was unbelievable for the quality of the food - highly recommended, 100% would go back again

Walked past here a few times but the rain helped us decide today. Could not fault the food or the service. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had the pork belly, qyoza, tempura prawns and katsu chicken all washed down with a buy one get one free cocktail 😁 the menu was huge! Maybe a little too big but we will definitely be back to try a few more things. Thanks for a great lunch
