Retro Kitchen and Bar has a really nice atmosphere, and I enjoyed the meal overall. The only thing that let it down a bit for me was the service style, which felt a little lacking in etiquette. We arrived early for a booked table and mentioned that friends were on the way, but the interaction still felt a bit off. That said, it was still a pleasant place to spend the evening.

An unforgettable dining experience in Sanur! Chef Denis and Chef Luka created truly exceptional dishes with rich flavor and beautiful presentation. The Beef Maranggi was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and full of authentic Indonesian taste. The sambal matah kecombrang was absolutely outstanding fresh, aromatic, and unlike anything I’ve tried before. The dessert, Getuk Lindri, was also delicious and gave a wonderful traditional touch to the whole experience. Special thanks to Mrs. Sari, the lovely owner of the restaurant, for the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. You can really feel the passion and care behind every detail here. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sanur and looking for authentic Indonesian cuisine with a refined and memorable touch.

We attended a party there , welll organized and the staff was ok . I did not eat the buffet food but it looked nice and my wife enjoyed it

My very first time to come here, I was really appreciate all the staff! Very welcoming, lovely and caring. I ordered chicken mushroom steak, overall tasted good, large portion too for me, I would rate 7.5/10 The ambience also great, what a pleasure to have a dinner here!

The Retro definitely has one of the best western breakfasts in Sanur. The big breakfast with two slices of sourdough toast and coffee included is great. Safe travels, Mega.
