I felt as if I were in Italy. The numerous photos of the chef hanging on the wall reveal his culinary philosophy, pride, and the lifelong dedication he has dedicated to cooking. The quality of the food is excellent, and it offers an authentic Italian taste. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Both the pasta and pizza are superb. The wine list is also good, and the sparkling wine I had by the glass was delicious. Experience Italian gourmet dining in Bali at Massimo 🇮🇹😋💓

Everything we had here was sooo good, nothing failed! Loved all the pasta and pizza, and the burrata was good too. The service was great, and the ambience was perfect for family time. They even surprised me with a birthday celebration without me asking! Especially the waiter, Kak Silvy/Shelly (sorry, I forgot the name 😭). So far, everything was great. Definitely would recommend this place to others!

Massimo is a real surprise 🤩Tucked away in a popular noisy restaurant hub in Sanur. You arrive at throngs of people lining up for pizza 🍕 then past them on a wee path into a large busy restaurant. We booked a special table & were lead into a beautiful air-conditioned room that sat only 30 people..so it was immediately quiet 🤫 with amazing service..surrounded by beautiful antiques. The menu & meal was exceptional 👌 and the price was very reasonable. We will return. Thanks Massimos.

Whenever I’m in Sanur, their Gelato is always tempting 😄 Great selection of flavors, affordable prices, and the gelato is consistently good. I’ve been here several times and still enjoy trying different flavors. Best to come later in the afternoon or evening when it’s a little less hectic.

Massimo was a very interesting experience. There’s a big line outside for the gelato, once you go inside the hostess will greet you and hopefully sort you a table. It does get very busy so highly recommend a reservation. The tuna tartare with burrata was very interesting, these two specialties are actually my favourite so to have dish to combine them was cool! However, very rich and my preference would be to keep them separate. The mozzarella tomato salad had a generous portion of tomatoes which overpowered the dish. The mains came out at separate times which was slightly annoying, the vongolle was delicious with the garlic and the butter! The vodka penne pasta was the showstopper. Just a shame it was late. The idea banana split was also a great hit, finally had some of that gelato and yes it is as good as expected!!
