I may have found my new favourite spot in Sanur to eat. We've visited several times this holiday and will likely return again before heading home. Our first visit I ate the incredible Soto Tahu (tofu) while my wife had Nasi Goreng Merah. We shared delicious Banana Fritter for desert. The next day we came back so I could try the Vegan Nasi Campur (blew my mind with flavour) while my wife enjoyed the Veggie Burger. Being vegetarian, the Indonesian options in most warungs are limited to the usual Nasi or Mie Goreng. However at Lilla's you're welcomed with multiple choices - so many in fact that we've committed to multiple visits to try them all. Wine is reasonable at ~$7AUD by the glass - with 2 glasses this doubled the bill, but still very respectable. The restaurant was packed for dinner (it's so good!) so get in early or make a reservation. Lunchtime still saw plenty of customers but there were loads of tables available still.

Lilla Warung has such a lovely atmosphere, with a nice balance of charm and comfort that makes it easy to settle in for a meal. I also appreciated how smooth and attentive the experience felt from start to finish. It’s the kind of place that feels special without being overly formal, and I’d happily go back again.

As soon as we stepped into this hidden gem, we were engulfed by the authenticity of such a retreat. A modern twist lay in wait for us as we imbibed our senses in a delicious meal. Being a family of three, we found the place a real delightful escape from the bustling streets, creating an atmosphere of pure serenity. From fantastic calamari, fish and tuna to a super satay, the menu here curates a myriad of food choices and a selection of drinks A beautiful culinary adventure for anyone to be immersed in. Fish of the fish and chips was nicely fried, good amount as sculpted fingers. Chips were fries, and for anybody hailing from the north east coast of England, it’s almost impossible to achieve that standard of fish and chips. One step is to have proper chips rather than fries. Just for your information, for families, there is no designated kids menu assigned in the general portions. Other than this, the menu houses food that anyone can divulge in. 100% recommend this warung of delight! Written by Jim Laughton’s daughter Reviewed and perfected by Jim Laughton

Fabulous. Delicious food, lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere. We ate here twice. The first night, the food was spectacular, unfortunately the second night, it was less spectacular. There's an selection of local and international choices. Well worth visiting. Come early or late as its hard to get a table at peak time.

The vegan Nasi campur was one of the best meals of my trip. Huge variety of flavour but really balanced, and so so tasty! The jackfruit was so succulent it melted in your mouth, I’ve never had anything like it. Plus the restaurant is gorgeous and the staff lovely! Definitely recommend checking out this Warung 🤩
