It’s a nice Italian restaurant in a quiet setting. The owner is very attentive, passed out some pizza samples when we arrived and even offered us a glass of Limoncello after we had paid and were about to leave. Great Italian service! There were several fans to cool the indoor seating, but we must have picked a table that was in between them as it got a little warm while eating. The pasta was very good. The pizza wasn’t very spicy for a Diavolo, but there was a bottle of chili oil that made up for that. The “mix salad” was a mix of lettuce and carrot, but there was balsamic vinegar and olive oil which made a good dressing. All in all, it was a good place to have some Western food in Sanur, and worth a visit if you are passing by and fancy some pizza or pasta with a glass of wine.

Many restaurants in Sanur feel rushed, loud, and built for high turnover. I rarely take the time to write a review unless a place is truly extraordinary—and Bella Italia is exactly that. It is a quiet, relaxed, and unpretentious oasis tucked away from Sanur’s usual hustle and bustle. We started with the Caprese and the Mozzarella and Prosciutto. Both appetizers were out of this world. The mozzarella (which I learned is produced right here in Bali) absolutely burst with freshness and flavor, while the prosciutto was incredibly juicy and savory. For our main courses, we ordered the Tortellini Panna e Prosciutto and the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi. If you ever want to know what a triumphant concert of a thousand trumpets tastes like: this is it. The balance between the pork-mince-filled tortellini and the rich ham sauce was flawless. The gnocchi was equally spectacular, harmonizing perfectly with its sauce. We ended our culinary festival with the Tiramisu and the Panna Cotta, which delivered another fireworks display of flavor. If there is one ingredient that shines through every single dish here, it is a deep love and dedication to authentic Italian cuisine.

When you're here.... Your family... It's an old phrase. However, Giorgio the owner embodies this.. You are virtually walking into his kitchen and sitting down at his table.. Giorgio is an italian-born gentleman who now lives in Indonesia.. his food, his flavors, his portion sizes are all phenomenal and the way he interacts with every one of his guests makes you feel literally like you're sitting in his kitchen. 🫶 The food is Custom-Made from his kitchen. The flavors are distinct of him, The portion size is perfect. Come hungry, leave full is an understatement, It is a breath of fresh air to still have quality service and someone who cares about the people who walk through his door, Giorgio is an absolute gentleman. Our experience.... we were sat immediately a plate of crisps where set at our table along with some Waters before our butts even hit the chair, drink order was quick. We ordered a Caesar salad and a pizza and in Italian fashion, the cold salad was put in front of us within minutes of ordering, the pizza was delivered after the salad bowl was removed by the staff, The experience had a great flow. Shortly after we called for the check, Giorgio came over with complimentary two shots of limoncello which he gives to everybody, he smiles and said it's good for digestion. What a distinct and great dining experience, it's sad to think that the majority of the world has lost this touch. Giorgio keeps it alive in Bali. 🙏

We went to Italy last year and the meals we have had here beat all of those. There pasta is homemade and delicious. The pizzas are amazing. We paid $30 pp and we had 2 starters 4 mains and 2 deserts 2 cocktails and 2 beers. The owner is a real Italian who has lived in Bali since the 80s. The staff are lovely too. We have eaten here 3 nights out of our holiday because it was so good. We will be back

Best pizza I ate while traveling through Bali! (^ω^) Wholesome staff, always helping with a smile( I really appreciate it when I see places hiring young pepole^_^ also plus for the funny manager haha, very pleasant ) delicious food and refreshing drinks go well with gorgeous atmosphere and nostalgic uplifting music playing through the speakers ! My family ordered for 4 pepole and both drinks and food came suuuper fast !!! We even ordered panna cotta, very nice, love ! Before, when ordering pizza I often ate salty cracker like pie texture but here it’s completely different, true Italian pizza, delicious ! You can change the ingredients in the pizza too, I ordered Hawaiian and there was no issue in changing pineapple to black olives ( ✌︎'ω')✌︎ I’m leaving soon but it was truely amazing, definitely recommend if you’re looking to have a break from local food and want to taste something familiar ٩( 'ω' )و ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ legend ! ! !
