A nice café situated on a busy street, went to this cafe on a hot sunny Sunday around 1:30pm, plenty of seats. The environment was cosy and well designed, there were outdoor seating too. Food menu was quite special, the wall featured a few certificates of the chef. The V60 Filtered Coffee was surprisingly smooth and fruity, we ordered 2 beans from Indonesia, roasted by Missibu. Food were nice, staffs were friendly, toilet was clean. Price is on the high side.
View on GoogleWent there to brunch with friends. We absolutely love it! Food and drinks were delicious, place is nice and clean. We can eat inside or outside, would say there are around 10ish tables total. Staff was welcoming. Just to mention probably don't buy jewellery from there as mine turn black just 2 days after purchase 🫠 it was golden colour and staff said it was titanium good quality...
View on GoogleI love this cafe - or better say, I loved it… 😔💔 A year ago my boyfriend and I stayed in Sanur for a week and worked from here almost every day, ordering a lot. The food quality back then was excellent. We never had any issues like the ones mentioned in some reviews (raw eggs or bad sandwiches). Everything was consistently great.😊 This year I was really excited to bring my friend and show her how amazing this place is. Unfortunately, the experience was quite different. From the moment we arrived, the staff felt a bit too pushy - there were several people at the counter watching and waiting, which made it slightly uncomfortable. When we ordered, the food quality and taste were not as good as before. Overall, it felt just so-so compared to our previous visits. That said, the fries with seaweed are still very good, and the smoothies are absolutely amazing. My favorite dish is the shakshuka (similar to Turkish eggs), but I would kindly suggest using less garlic and making it a bit less liquid - it would really improve the balance of flavors. I also ordered a cookie, and it was warmed without asking. Usually, cookies are served cold unless requested otherwise, so it might be nice to double-check with customers before heating pastries like cookies or muffins. One last thing that was a bit distracting: two staff members were singing quite loudly for a long time. I understand Bali has very talented and cheerful people, but the volume made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, and honestly made us want to leave sooner than planned. I still appreciate the smoothies and some menu items, but I hope the cafe can bring back the quality and calm vibe it had before. From your customer with love 😌
View on GoogleI first discovered Canvas Café in 2019 on a trip to Nusa Penida. Since then, it remains on my go-to list whenever I'm in Sanur. The salads and healthy juices are my favourites. Thank you for taking so much care on using fresh ingredients and maintaining great quality. Everything always feels nourishing and tasty. I once came across a book on the shelf featuring the owner chef. Very inspiring culinary journey. Keep doing great!
View on GoogleWe got the Sinful Burger (10/10) and the delicious Vegan Crunch Bowl. The staff, especially Wayan and his great singing, were incredibly friendly and created a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended 🙏
