My sister got food poisoning from eating unfresh seafood which they admitted to, especially by providing free ice cream. The staff were unprofessional. She felt sick straight away, the seafood looked and smelt bad. Please don’t eat seafood here to avoid poisoning.

We went there twice for dinner. The service is very friendly. The location is romantic and there is a good vibe. On one night there was a live singer and on the other night a DJ. Food is also very good - especially the prawans and the coconut sorbet😊

We went for dinner and I got food poisoning. 20 minutes after eating I didn’t feel good at all. My husband told the team that the seafood wasn’t fresh and they admitted it wasn’t to which is why they boiled it before serving! They also gave us “complimentary” ice cream for dessert… who would do that if they didn’t feel they were responsible? I felt uneasy the whole night and eventually got really sick when we went back to our hotel, we spent enormous amounts of money towards a doctor to come early hours of the morning as I gave up and had no energy. My body was severely dehydrated from the vomitting and they had the nerve to advise that it probably was the food I ate 48 hours prior to eating with them. They’re refusing to take accountability, especially after admitting to not serving fresh food. DO NOT COME HERE! I have contacted my legal team to take care of this matter. The restaurant wants to investigate what I have eaten 48 hours prior to eating with them, so we will be investigating the true cleanliness of their facilities and food they claim is ok to serve.

Fantastic food Ordered beef ribeye, beef burger, salad and chocolate moose icecream. Best restaurant in The Meru.
