As a German I can highly recommend this place. The Pork schnitzel tastes like I’m back home. You also get a little sample of the Currywurst with your pork schnitzel order which is awesome! I loooove the flavour of the ketchup with the curry. The food is really authentic so if you can’t travel to Germany but miss the German food you should visit this place! I’m living in australia and will come back!! They also have a little shop where you can buy German sweets and treats + different types of meat and cheese.

If you're craving authentic German comfort food, this place is a must-visit. It's more than just a restaurant—it also has a deli stocked with imported products, and even a Starbucks corner inside, making it a fun place to explore before or after your meal. The dining area is spacious, and the open kitchen adds a nice touch to the experience. Watching the chefs prepare each dish while waiting made the whole visit feel even more engaging. The food was outstanding. The sausages and bangers were cooked to perfection, with beautifully crisp casings that gave a satisfying snap before revealing juicy, springy fillings bursting with flavor. Paired with the tangy, crunchy sauerkraut and silky smooth mashed potatoes, every bite was pure comfort. We also tried the Königsberger Klopse, and it was excellent. The meatballs were incredibly tender, coated in a rich, creamy sauce that was comforting without feeling too heavy. And don't leave without ordering the cheesy garlic bread. It was wonderfully soft, generously brushed with garlic butter, and so fragrant that it disappeared from the table within minutes. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to recommend dishes and suggest great pairings, making it so much easier to decide what to order. As a lovely surprise, they even served complimentary sausage rolls while we waited—and our kids devoured them within seconds! It's that kind of thoughtful hospitality that makes a meal truly memorable. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try their deli sandwiches, and I was also tempted by the selection of locally made cheeses in the display case. This is one of those places that gets everything right: fantastic food, warm hospitality, and an experience that keeps you thinking about your next visit. Definitely coming back for more.

Pork Knuckle was the main favourite dish and the crunchieness was excellent. Tried the veal sausage, but it was just so-so, the sausage was too soft inside and the sauce was too sweet for me. Garlic bread, potato wedges, french fries, chicken wings and oxtail soup were delicious. They have lots of meat and sausages we can buy too at their shop, and some other groceries. Staffs were nice and polite, a good place to dine with family and friends.

Visiting Das Bistro by Mama's feels like stepping into a warm embrace, and the atmosphere instantly makes you feel at home. Every visit has been a delightful experience for us, filled with delicious food and genuine hospitality. It’s heartwarming to know that no matter how many times we return, the quality and warmth remain unchanged. What makes it even more special is that you can purchase some of their wonderful products right there at the Bistro, allowing you to take a piece of that joy home with you. We truly appreciate the consistency and dedication from the staff. Thank you for your hard work, keep it up! We can’t wait to come back for another memorable meal!

Food, service & atmosphere were nice. I just choose the wrong food...I feel the meat bit too rough/dry. The tiramisu was lacking coffee. Pls see attached what tiramisu mean Tiramisu literally means "pick me up" or "cheer me up" in Italian.
