Checked out this food spot in Denpasar that has been going viral on Instagram. 👇 📋 What We Ordered:Oseng Daging (Stir-fried Beef): Rp 35k (The meat was perfectly tender, but the flavor itself wasn't anything special and the portion size is small.) Bebek Mandala (Mandala Fried Duck): Rp 33k (It was nice and tender with a savory blend of herbs, but the duck meat itself didn't stand out much—the only thing that really elevates it is the sambal.) Nasi Putih (Steamed Rice): Rp 7k The food didn't quite live up to the viral hype for us. The best part of the whole meal was definitely the sambal, though the garlic sambal (sambal bawang) wasn't spicy at all.
View on GooglePassed by Teuku Umar and saw this place was packed so we decided to drop by. Food wise I actually quite liked it. We ordered the large Ayam Mandala and the oseng daging and both tasted good. The rice has this unique fragrant onion smell which is nice but it turned out to be super spicy for my tongue and the sambal is also burning hot. Since it gets extremely crowded it is definitely not the most comfortable place to sit and eat. Car parking is a nightmare because it is located on the busy Teuku Umar road which always gets jammed during red lights.
View on GoogleOrdered the gulai duck and fried chicken. The gulai was delicious—the duck had no unpleasant smell at all. The fried chicken was also tasty and not too dry. The sambal was really good too.
View on GoogleTheir food saved the place. This place is crowded, kinda dirty (maybe because their fast-paced), the atmosphere is noisy. I only give them 4-star because of their food, specially their sambal.
View on GoogleKnow this place from tiktok. The soup was too spicy for me. I ordered their chicken. Their dried sambal was nice, not too spicy compared to to the soup and has a lot of onions inside, but a bit too salty for me. The cooking process was not too long. The order queue was long because a lot of people went there.
