Bebek Goreng Mas Aan in Bali offers a culinary experience that is truly a hidden gem on the island. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of savoring their signature dish, bebek goreng (fried duck), and it left an indelible mark on my taste buds and my overall impression of this quaint restaurant. The standout feature of Bebek Goreng Mas Aan is undoubtedly their delectable fried duck. It was a revelation of flavors and textures. The duck was cooked to perfection, with the meat being moist and tender, while the skin achieved that sought-after crispiness. Every bite was a symphony of savory goodness that showcased the mastery of their culinary craft. The richness of the duck's flavor was complemented by a delightful assortment of side dishes, including fragrant rice and traditional Indonesian condiments. Another pleasant surprise was the affordability of the meal. Despite the exceptional quality and taste of the duck, the prices at Bebek Goreng Mas Aan are incredibly reasonable, making it an accessible dining option for both locals and tourists. This affordability is a refreshing departure from some of the more upscale dining options in Bali, allowing you to relish gourmet-quality cuisine without breaking the bank. The kindness and warmth of the staff and owner also left a lasting impression. Their genuine hospitality and eagerness to ensure a pleasant dining experience added a personal touch to the visit. It's clear that they take pride in their establishment and are dedicated to delivering top-notch service to their patrons. Above all, the most important aspect of Bebek Goreng Mas Aan is the sheer deliciousness of their food. The flavors are authentic, and the quality of their dishes is exceptional. Whether you're a fan of Indonesian cuisine or simply looking to try something new and flavorful, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of moist and tender duck, affordable prices, kind staff and owner, and the undeniable deliciousness of their offerings make Bebek Goreng Mas Aan a culinary destination that deserves the attention of anyone exploring the vibrant food scene in Bali.
View on GoogleA very lively street food. Their specialty is fried duck. The portion is 35k + 3k extra to replace it with nasi uduk. The duck was very good, tender and not fishy. The "bumbu hitam" is on each table, side by side with green sambal and sambal korek. Their "bumbu hitam" is excellent! Mixed it with the rice and duck. My favorite was the sambal korek, it was spicy and very well matched. Sambal korek was wonderful, the spiciness was great and it was a perfect match. The nasi uduk is flavorless. Just like ordinary rice with a slightly greenish color.
View on GoogleThe highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the bebek goreng. Cooked to perfection, the duck was wonderfully crispy on the outside while retaining its juiciness inside. The accompanying bumbu hitam and fresh sambal added layers of flavor that complemented the dish beautifully. Though I only interacted with the cashier during my takeaway order, the service was courteous and efficient. The atmosphere, typical of bustling food stalls, was vibrant and lively, reflecting the area's culinary spirit. In terms of affordability, Bebek Goreng Mas Aan offers fair prices for the quality of food served. While it may not be the cheapest option, the value is evident in the delicious flavors and generous portions. Conveniently located in the heart of the Marlboro food district on Jl. Teuku Umar Barat, accessibility is not an issue. Overall, my experience was delightful, and I would gladly return for another satisfying meal.
