I tried Mie Goreng Pelita and this place is quite special for me. I used to live in Makassar and also in Bali, and this was my go-to spot whenever I missed Makassar-style Chinese food while in Bali, so there’s a bit of nostalgia here. The price is reasonable and the food tastes very authentic. My favorite is the Nasi Goreng Merah, I really love it. The flavor is rich, slightly spicy, and very khas Makassar. I always eat it with jeruk nipis, just like Makassar people do, and it makes it even better. It’s not easy to find this kind of taste outside Makassar, so I really appreciate this place. Definitely recommended, and I would come back again whenever I’m in Bali.
View on GoogleBest fried rice I tried in Bali so far. The food are in generous amount and taste superb. This place has also improved its place, the tables are more sturdy and rigid than my last visit, but unfortunately, the floor was very greasy. Overall, I would still come back if I miss the fried rice
View on GoogleTried their main dish which is Mie Goreng Makassar (crispy noodle siram), but didn’t like it. Neither did the Mie Goreng Hokkian that my friend ordered. Was not sure why, maybe it was bland. But the worst was the hot tea that tasted really bad I almost threw up after drinking it.
View on GoogleMie Goreng Makassar PELITA is a real highlight for lovers of Indonesian cuisine.🥰 The Mie Goreng are perfectly seasoned and bring authentic flavors straight to the plate. The portions are generous and very filling.🍛🍚 The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, ideal for a relaxed meal.😋 The service was friendly and courteous, so you immediately feel at home.🥘 One small criticism is the waiting time, which can sometimes be a bit longer, especially at peak times.🔥 But the wait is definitely worth it!💯❤️🥰 Overall, a recommended address for anyone who loves Indonesian food!🇮🇩🍲
View on GoogleHalal Chinese-Makassar–style dishes. The flavor is okay, not mind-blowing, but the portions are generous—two dishes were enough for two people and kept us full for hours.
