Family atmosphere I could not leave! I loved my time here and cannot wait to return. Great home-cooked food. Family style meals for dinner. Very accommodating when I had requests and fantastic price. They taught me to cook, work a garden, language, roast a pig, etc. Great home-away-from-home! Beautiful views!

The area is full of overpriced hotels that will offer you awful rooms at not reasonable prices, in the middle of the touristic flow. If you are a budget traveller who wants to experience a stay in the mountains, this place is perfect. The negative aspect is that we've been there during the wet season, so it rained a lot and the rooms were really dump: our bags were wet and the smell of the rooms was not exactly nice. On the other hand, the price is cheap, the food is excellent, there is hot water, the owners are friendly and helpful and the view is breathtaking. I'd go again.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. It was one of two cheapest spots we found around Munduk. We werent dissapointed, the welcome was great, the place looked great as well, there is large lake nearby and the view is perfect from outside of the Bukit. The room is really simple, bed, table and bathroom with shower, what more do you need? The price was really great, and so I cannot even complain about the cold watter in the bathroom (yes, it was little but challenging to get the shower in these colder days, but it is healthy, isnt it?). There was other couple complaining at the reception about it and about other things I guess, trying to get something for free..it was like, seriously guys, if you book Four Seasons, alright, but for this price? Be happy there are no bugs and the local family is great!

Good for 1 night if you're in need of a place, but not more. When we first arrived they were friendly, until we turned down their tour guide services and then they became very bitter and rude. The rooms are very muggy and infested with bugs and cochroaches. Showers did not work and when they did, it was cold and no pressure. The family is very dishonest and lied to us about the shuttle bus schedule so that we would have to take their very overpriced taxi services. (We didn't.) When we said no to their taxi they laughed and admitted that they lied.

Family is very friendly & included breakfast is delicious. If you need anything, ask. Food prices are high if you're used to local warungs, but okay for most tourists. You can refill your water bottle. I like hot water, so I had to fill my thermos in the morning for the day, but they were also accomodating about that. The view in the front is beautiful.
