The area features one massive waterfall just for viewing, and several others where you can cliff-jump and slide down like a waterslide. They offer a few different ticket packages: 125,000 IDR for just viewing and jumping; 250,000 IDR which also includes a zipline waterfall; and 350,000 IDR for God knows what else. A guide accompanies you everywhere. The visit is limited to 2 hours. It's an interesting experience, but please be extremely careful. People constantly get injured jumping from the high waterfalls—breaking limbs, ribs, and one guy even broke his back. No one will take responsibility for you, there is no doctor on-site, and no one will provide first aid.

We went with our driver who recommended it to us. It was 45k per person to have a guide take you round. Not essential but worth it and they bring water for you. It’s not a huge trek like some but it is definitely not for those who are unsteady or unfit. The steps down are very steep and very deep with often little to hold on to or no railing. The way back is easier but a lot of steps. We stopped a few times to catch our breath. The guide was very supportive and friendly to get us to jump in the water and took amazing photos and videos for us. It was a great experience and if you can cope with the steps it’s well worth a visit.

While researching the waterfalls felt confusing as their are so many tours that drive you to different ones this particular spot is very simple if you are just wanting to walk around and see them. You get your ticket, a straightforward process at the obvious ticket booth - 20,000 for just to walk in without a guide which is what we did. And 125,000 if you want to do jumps/swim (which you need a guide for which is why it’s more, the guides are waiting by the ticket booth) The walk down the steps are very steep so someone with mobility issues might struggle with that part. It’s very straightforward from there, you can see Aling Aling to the right and then walk more left to see Kroya falls and another one. It’s not very far at all to walk once you’ve done the steps to see everything. As others have said early morning is best, we stayed very nearby so was easy. It was getting quite busy as we were leaving (tours come up from Ubud and other places) We enjoyed it even though we didn’t swim (heights and jumping is not for me!) but it did look very fun to do :) I know their are lots of tours that combine a few other places, you could purchase those tickets here as well, and then the guide drives you to other places once you’ve done this particular spot. We just wanted a chill day though!

So worth the visit! If you’re into adrenaline cliff jumping, natural water slides or just love watching. If you want to swim, take amazing photos and enjoy the views also a great day out. We could have enjoyed and stayed all day. Highly recommend going early - we arrived at about 9am and no one was there yet.

It is a fantastic waterfall, thanks to the management keeping it clean while preserving its natural atmosphere. You can jump into the water from heights ranging from 5 to 15 meters—there are three designated jumping spots—and finally, there is Aling-Aling itself, which stands 35 meters tall. Next time, I might visit the "Blue Lagoon," a natural pool said to be located at the very top of the Aling-Aling waterfall. To enter, you can choose between short, medium, or long trekking routes at various price points; it is best to go directly to the official office in the parking area near the waterfall to get the standard rates.
