Pondok Sari Hotel is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay in Pemuteran. The grounds are lush and peaceful, with charming detached rooms surrounded by tropical gardens. We loved the wooden detailing in the room and the outdoor shower, which gave the stay a unique and authentic feel. The beachfront setting is lovely, with striking black sand and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of both hot and cold buffet options. It is worth noting that this is different from a modern five-star resort. The rooms have a few rustic edges, but that is also part of the hotel’s charm and suits the natural, traditional setting perfectly. Overall, it was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of northern Bali.

We were staying at another resort and happened to come across their restaurant when snorkeling. The food was amazing, had greater selection and less $$. Fantastic Indonesian and international food! The pineapple and coconut juice is a must try!!

Fantastic stay. Lovely Balinese furniture in our villa. Everything was at our doorstep. snorkelling trips ,seeing the turtles and swimming off the beach. the beach was very clean and the staff very accomodating and kind.

What do we love about Pondok Sari? Where to begin… The management and staff are excellent, professional, as well as kind. They are always ready to help with a smile. We stayed at Pondok Sari for two months this year and enjoyed the beach (best area for swimming), the pool (which is well taken care of), and a wonderful breakfast each morning. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and cleaned with care each day. Pondok Sari is the oldest hotel in Permuteran. It has classic furniture throughout, which gives it an “old Bali” feel. The extensive gardens are beautiful and well kept at all times. We highly recommend Pondok Sari and will be returning!

PondocSari hotel is a traditional Bali resort. It is well maintained with beautiful gardens. It is close to supermarket and local warung and restaurants. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There is a pool and it is beachfront. The hotel area near the beach is also the hotel restaurant and there are sun lounges. It is peaceful and only the sounds of nature. There is none of the loud amplified music that is played in all the south Bali hotels and restaurants.||Traditional Bali is what we wanted and we got it here.
