Another lovely choice for a simple but delicious Balinese lunch or dinner is this place. It's a gorgeous bamboo house with open-air dining and beautiful decorations, and they serve lovely satay and spring rolls and soups and many other things. It's surrounded by rice fields, so in the evenings it's peaceful and romantic and a great way to wind down from a busy day.

Lovely restaurant with an atmospheric, open bamboo construction. The food is delicious and traditional Balinese and service personnel very kind. We returned every night of our stay and will come again if we were to return.

Very tasty food! Ira is very friendly and open, like all the employees. The place is very beautiful. The service is perfect. My husband and i also attended a cooking class: we really enjoyed it and when we get home i will host a Balinese dinner for the family. A special place with a beautiful view of the rice fields. The restaurant’s location is perfect and very easy to find. We had a delicious dinner here, which was freshly prepared and beautiful presented. We were really impressed by the cooking class offered here: in the morning, we went with Ira to the local market, where we bought fresh ingredients. Afterwards, we were allowed to prepare various dishes together with her and the cook in the kitchen. Cooking together was very enjoyable and Ira speaks perfect English, which made communication very easy. At the end we were able to try our own dishes and even take the recipes home with us. We had a wonderful time and can absolutely recommend this restaurant and the cooking class.

We discovered the restaurant on a short stroll around our hotel. Lunch was good so we went back for dinner. Guests next to us had the extensive rijsttafel dinner that you have book one day in advance which we did for the next day. All 3 meals we had here in combination with the great staff (Ira) made us come back.
