If you love nature, this place is a must-visit. I arrived around 5 AM to catch the sunrise, and the view was breathtaking. Be prepared, though—the air is very cold at this hour, so bring a thick jacket! The atmosphere was so peaceful. Even that early, I saw local fishermen already out on their canoes catching fish, and quite a few photographers set up to capture the misty landscape. It’s the perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature away from the crowds. Highly recommended!

the domestic ticket is 10k per person and 2k per motorbike. we rarely get the sun whenever we came here, it’s always cloudy. so this is a rare occurrence for us yesterday. you can camp here too but idk about the ticket fee.

I hope the authorities can help to maintain and preserve this beautiful place. Especially if there is a need to pay for entrance. It will be sad if it is not well preserved. Also, will be good to have some explanation of this place. Otherwise, things will be forgotten coz’ untold. The lake is beautiful and realized people can roll the boat on the lake. But maybe the safety can be done better. Overall this place is quite serenity. Just to relax and slowdown and admire the nature.

The first time I went there was on February 16, and I went back again on May 10. The tide was high, flooding the place where I once camped.

First and foremost, the whole surroundings here actually is a camping ground. Next, it cost RP30,000 to enter in order to get close to the temple and to realize it is just another temple that looks like the others except it being besides a lake. You can't even enter the temple as it is only reserved for Balinese in traditional clothing and for praying intention. To summarize it all, this is not for tourists (unless you insist). I rode 45 mins to get here to realize this, so to give you all a heads up. If you have engaged a guide and he recommend this place, just tell him to recommend elsewhere. If he insist, you better change another guide. Do not say you have not been told.
