Munduk Sari Resort offers beautiful views from the rooms and serves very good food. The location is quite remote, so it is worth planning your transport in advance. I recommend renting a scooter to explore the nearby waterfalls, as the surrounding roads are not particularly suitable for walking. A peaceful place to stay if you want to experience Munduk’s nature and scenery.

We’ve been staying here almost every weekend since 2025 and have always considered ourselves loyal customers. Unfortunately, this visit left us very disappointed. When we arrived as walk-in guests, there appeared to be plenty of rooms available online. However, after the staff called Irma, the owner, the availability suddenly changed and the rooms were marked as sold out. We don’t know if there was an issue, but it certainly made us feel unwelcome. We often stay here with our children and have even brought friends and clients to support the business. Because of that, the way this situation was handled was especially disappointing. The staff were not particularly helpful, and their attitude seemed indifferent rather than welcoming. As returning guests who have supported this property regularly, we expected better communication and customer service. We hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve the experience for loyal guests in the future.

When we arrived they update our room with a bigger one without changing the price. The room was nice, cozy, clean... it had everything!! The view from the room was amazing, we had a bathtube seeing the jungle. Bathroom big and clean, the resort itself is very beautiful and peaceful, the swimming pool with the view something stunning. We ate dinner their restaurant (around the hotel there aren't too many other options) but the food was really good and breakfast also. The position is perfect for the walking to all the 5 waterfalls that can't be missed!!

I'd Return Only If I Forgot Where I Stayed We spent three unforgettable nights at this hotel, though we’d rather forget them. The hotel is older, which wouldn't be an issue if it were at least maintained. Unfortunately, the mold in the bathroom and the filth in the room suggest that upkeep is not a priority. The restaurant? For the prices they charge, we expected more than average food, but unfortunately, one visit was more than enough. Breakfast was truly exceptional—though, unfortunately, not in a good way. If you were lucky, you might find something other than eggs (which, by the way, you have to request because the staff apparently waits for you to ask). As for the buffet? I'd rather not even comment, unless you enjoy starting your morning on an empty stomach. The only saving grace was when a large group of elderly tourists arrived—breakfast was occasionally restocked. Despite this "luxury," we decided we would never return to this hotel. If anyone wants to save their money and sanity, I highly recommend finding another place to stay.
