A very beautiful waterfall! In my opinion, it’s the best of the four waterfalls around Ubud, but it’s also the most challenging to reach. The trail requires a significant physical effort, and some sections of the stairs are damaged, making the descent and ascent more demanding and potentially hazardous. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend visiting with young children, as the climb back up can be quite exhausting and the broken steps may make the descent uncomfortable and unsafe.

I absolutely loved Melanting Waterfall. Like the rest on the circuit, it was stunning. A few steps down to it but if you are of moderate fitness you should be fine.. Enjoy yet another Bali icon!!

The path down is long and steep. And it takes a decent amount of time to complete the trek. If you got time, then yes this is a good visit, if not, better skip this one and choose one of the many others.

Nice trail over this beautiful waterfall, be aware of the stairs that might be slippery in wet conditions

346 steps down from Warung Lembah Melanting, this is the most tiring to reach, among the four Munduk Waterfalls. If you have knee issues but still can do steps, this waterfall is still doable. Just take it slow and easy at your own pace. For bad knees, you might want to reconsider though. Upon reaching the fall, all your pain will be forgotten.
