We spent 3 days here with these lovely people. Cooking class which lasted a good few hours, we had so much food to eat after - we loved it. Arya (not sure how to spell it) and Aris were so friendly, funny and loved to have a chat with us about everything. A very welcoming family, with a beautiful dog and plenty of other animals to look at. Food was also great, super prices with a great range on the menu. The location is perfect as it's beside many other restaurants, but also beside some great walks to the waterfalls and local spots. Arya even organised us a taxi to come to Ubud. We met her nephew who was great and we spoke with him the whole journey. Thank you all so much for making our time special in Munduk! ❤️

Our 5-night stay at Ari’s Homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Ari and her family made us feel like part of their own, offering a level of kindness and hospitality that is rare to find. If you stay here, you must take the cooking class! It was an incredible immersion into local culture and flavors. Ari shops at the local market (which is literally five steps away) every morning to ensure every ingredient is perfectly fresh. We ate at her warung every night because the food was simply the most delicious and affordable we found in the area. Plus, the breakfast spread is fantastic with so many great options to start the day. The view from the warung is stunning. The homestay is perfectly positioned near the stunning rice terraces and the start of the famous Munduk waterfalls walk. Ari also helped us organize a tour with a guide who was quite knowledgeable and shared interesting insights about the region. The family truly goes the extra mile. They even gave us a ride to a nearby town when we needed an ATM, and we really appreciated that they accept card payments as well. We also fell in love with Pippo the dog and the adorable bunnies—they add such a charming, homey feel to the place. We left Ari’s Homestay with full hearts and wonderful memories. If we ever return to Munduk, there is no question where we will be staying. Highly, highly recommended!

I stayed for 3 nights/2 days and was nearly the only guest in the place and in all of Munduk (I traveled in May before the high season). Aris is very kind, the rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean with mosquito nets, and the food is home-cooked on demand and very reasonably priced. She provides hand-drawn maps of the area with walking options and gives any information you could want about local excursions. The price is very reasonable and the location excellent - back from the main road, so no traffic noises, with spectacular views to the west and south of Bali. Aris even let me switch rooms free of charge one day due to some plumbing sounds coming the bathroom in my room at night. Highly recommended.

This place is suitable of you are after a budget stay. Room is very small. Old style. Included only a bed, side table, clothe rack. No table to work or anything like that. Very small space. Bed was not so comfortable either. Bathroom was old type and smelly. View is not that spectacular. But you have a small view of the valley. Breakfast is very poor. We only got two cups of coffee and two slices of toast with one scrambled egg. No fruits. No fruit juices. Very disappointed about the breakfast The lady was very friendly and kind though. The room had two free small mineral water bottles. They gave us a free early check in also which we really appreciate

No issues during my stay; the accommodation is exactly as described. The food is excellent—a very good breakfast! Thanks to Arris and his family for their warm welcome.
