Right now there is a fight between the two villages on “who own the waterfall”. The east side build stairs without the permission of the west side. And when you come from the east side from the stairs u pay entrance and walk down, but they blocked the passage to the waterfall. I asked for both parties tax and company registration number and will send it to the government if any of those people has the right to “own the waterfall in any way and if the incomes are getting taxed anyway. This is absolutely ridiculous even in Bali. Nobody owns the waterfall. It’s the waterfall from the gods. And if they have a disagreement on the incomes they should sit together and solve the situation.

Yangapi waterfall is right next to the famed waterfall that charges one to enter. This waterfall is nondescript and peaceful to say the least. There's no entrance fee or fancy cafes. However do note that you'll have to descend about 15 mins or so to reach the waterfall. I highly recommend to wear some aqua shoes or waterproof shoes if you would like to slosh around a bit.

Most beautiful waterfall. Run by local community. Very friendly people. Specially suited for travellers who are a bit adventurous and support local initiatives. The walk to the waterfall is very beautiful with natural materials like bamboo and stepstones. Enjoy Kopi and young coconut with locals afterwards and learn about them.

Smaller waterfall, not very interesting for me but beautiful, on the other side of the waterfall is a small natural pool. The path is not difficult, but you will pass through a rocky river, so I recommend dress a swimsuit and slippers at the parking lot. On the way you can see a couple of smaller waterfalls.

One of the most impressive natural waterfalls is situated in the heart of Yangapi village. As you descend towards the waterfall, you will be captivated by the picturesque rice terraces that guide you to this breathtaking spectacle.
