Tibumana Waterfall is a beautiful spot, and the walk down is almost as memorable as the waterfall itself because the views along the way are so nice. I also liked that there’s a cafe up top looking out over the rice fields, plus a few small stalls along the path for drinks and snacks. It felt like a really relaxed place to stop and enjoy the scenery.

Tibumana is stunning. Even on the way down, the views are amazing! It's free to visit, with a cafe at the top overlooking rice fields and smaller shops on the path selling drinks and snacks. A quieter fall (2 actually) highlighted by carvings of lizards, sturdy bamboo bridges and a wonderful mixture of tropical plants- all make for stunning pics. There are alot of steps here so you need to be reasonably fit and take our buy water. No access for mobility impaired, including prams. You can swim in the bottom. Beautiful waterfall and will with the effort.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tibumana Waterfall was one of the most peaceful stops on our Bali trip! 🌿💦 My friend and I visited on a Thursday around 11:00 AM, and it was surprisingly quiet. There were only a handful of other visitors, so it was easy to enjoy the scenery and take photos without feeling crowded. The entrance fee was 25,000 IDR, and from the entrance it's about a 15-minute walk to the waterfall. The trail is well worth it, winding through lush greenery before opening up to the beautiful waterfall. The weather was perfect during our visit, and we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't very buggy. Once you arrive, the waterfall is absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. 🤍 There is a swimming area if you want to cool off, but be aware that the current is stronger than it looks. There are also very deep sections near the edges, so it's important to stay within the safer areas if you decide to swim. During our visit, most people were relaxing or taking photos rather than swimming. I'd recommend setting aside about an hour for your visit. That gives you enough time to enjoy the walk, take plenty of pictures, relax by the waterfall, and head back without feeling rushed. There are also a few small shops near the entrance where you can grab a drink or snack before or after your visit. 🥥🥤 If you're looking for a beautiful waterfall that's easy to visit and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere, Tibumana Waterfall is definitely worth adding to your Bali itinerary. I'd happily come back again! 🌴✨

The hike down to the fall is actually half the experience, you pass by rice fields, vendors, a cute shop selling corn and other snacks on the edge of the cliff, walk across bridges to finally make it to the fall. It’s surreal because of beautiful it actually is. I personally didn’t go into the water as I wasn’t sure how clean it really was.

Tibumana Waterfall is one of those places that looks incredible in photos and has a lot of potential, but the experience is a bit mixed. Getting there is straightforward. The *facilities are good* – there are proper stairs and sturdy railings all the way down to the base. That makes the walk feel safe, even if you’re traveling with kids or older family members. The *downhill track is easy* and takes about 5-7 minutes. It’s shaded by tall trees, so you don’t feel the heat, and the sound of the waterfall gets louder with every step. The *forest feeling is awesome*. You’re surrounded by lush greenery, birds, and that classic Bali jungle vibe. It’s peaceful and feels like a mini escape from the busy tourist spots. For nature lovers and photographers, the path itself is worth it. But here’s the downside: the *waterfall itself is very dirty*. When we reached the base, the water looked murky with floating debris and leaves. It’s clear that maintenance hasn’t been consistent. Honestly, *you don’t feel like getting in*. We came prepared to swim and take photos in the water, but ended up just taking a few quick shots from the rocks and leaving. It’s disappointing because the location is stunning. And then there’s the way back. What goes down must come up – the *return walk is 10 minutes uphill*, and it’s a workout. It’s not dangerous thanks to the railings, but if you’re unfit or visiting in the heat, it’ll leave you saying “😥”. Bring water and take breaks. Bottom line: Visit if you want a quick jungle walk and nice photos from a distance. But don’t expect a clean, swimmable waterfall right now. With better upkeep, this could easily be a 5-star spot.
