The food is good and clean, although not super great/ amazing. However, we’re very disappointed with the service time. For simple food like this, we waited for 1.5 hours (and the restaurant wasn’t full). We complained 3 times in total, but the PIC seemed not having the sense of urgency, even after we told that we needed to go back as soon as possible. The pragmatic advice for the resto: pls be transparent up front to the customers about ur waiting time. At least the customers can make an informed judgement whether to stay or find another resto.
View on GoogleVery delicious hearty meals. Just what we needed for dinner after a long rainy day. As it's a semi-open space, it could get a bit chilly at night. It also meant the flies (which were common in Kintamani area) would be around quite a lot. Sound-wise, It's pretty quiet albeit the occasional vehicle's noise. Plus point, they have dedicated parking space for car. The restaurant manager, Zaaki, was really friendly and we had a good time chatting with him. Service was great. Overall, a really nice place to eat and just relax during a trip to Kintamani.
View on GoogleWe found this place by driving by. They have a nice view of the lake by Mt. Batur. We end up having a nice cold beer and a good lunch before getting back to the hotel. Jack made us feel welcome. Thanks!
View on GoogleNot many vegan-friendly places in this area very focused on chicken, but Wayan Kitchen delivered good food and juices, with an open view. I enjoyed looking at the traffic on the road while eating, very entertaining. The waitress was very kind. Good to know that they prefer cash payment.
View on GoogleQuiet, cozy, and breezy, ‘Wayan Kitchen and Bar’ is a great place to wind down after an exhausting trekking tour. The food served was comforting! I ordered the ‘Wayan’s Chicken Curry’ and curry is light yet flavorful. The ‘Papatas Bravas’ was good, but the highlight for me was the ‘Nasi Campur’ Overall, the service was great! Before heading out, we had a great talk with one of the waiter. He also shared us tips regarding our stay in Kintamani. A welcoming experience, I recommend!
