Absolutely outstanding! After completing a 7-mile Mount Batur volcano hike, this was the perfect place to enjoy an authentic Indonesian lunch. The crispy fried shrimp were incredible, and the Mujair Goreng (fried fish) was some of the freshest fish I’ve ever had. We were told the fish came from the nearby body of water around the Mount Batur area, and you could truly taste the freshness. The red cold-pressed juice was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly. Best of all, the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of the food, generous portions, and beautiful setting. If you’re visiting Mount Batur or Kintamani, I highly recommend stopping here. Delicious food, excellent service, and a wonderful local dining experience. We would definitely come back! 🌋🐟🍤🇮🇩

If you're heading up to Kintamani, you gotta stop by Grand Puncak Sari Restaurant! Dining right along the crater rim gives you one of the most stunning, uninterrupted views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur while you eat. Their Indonesian buffet spread is super convenient, featuring classic dishes like fried chicken, satay, fried noodles, and fresh fruit. The space is huge with open-air dining terrace options, making it ideal for taking photos of the mountain backdrop. It's best to visit before afternoon clouds roll in so you get the clearest, most breathtaking views!

Long overdue review. Went there Dec 2025. Amazing to know this halal place. We opted for the buffet. Yum! But we were a bit unlucky, we got a snippet view of Mt Ubud and it was raining. But overall, this place is a go to for your meals! My oh my, scrumptious desserts!

Been here 2 times and it gets better and improved for the cleanliness. The tastes still good and the atmosphere feels nice. You can get better view of Mt. Batur from lower level. The busiest is around the lunch time. Try to get here a little late like around 3 pm it will be least crowded.

Absolutely loved our experience at Grand Puncak Sari during our visit last November. The view of Mount Batur and the serene lake is simply breathtaking, one of the most beautiful views in Kintamani. The buffet selection is quite good, featuring a mix of Balinese and Indonesian dishes with a few international options. The food is fresh and flavorful, though not exceptional. What really makes this place special is the atmosphere - dining with such a panoramic view is unforgettable. Prices are a bit higher than average, but you’re definitely paying for the view. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel very comfortable throughout our meal. We were especially impressed that the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, which made our visit much easier as my wife was recovering from a ligament tear and needed a wheelchair. Sitting by the window with that incredible mountain backdrop was just magical. Highly recommend visiting here if you want great food with an unforgettable view!
