We arrived with empty seat and one family. Half opened door and old facade. Cashier counter were messy and the owner ran out of kitchen behind to take out order. Only 4 items in the menu. The local local style. We had Iga Bakar and Ayam Bakar Thailand, turn out the best we had in our 5 days trip, portion is biggest compare all the warung we visited and owner were friendly. Support local business like them. Please take the outdoor seat if you’re not okay with cigarettes smell. But note that outdoor seat is cold and windy.

Just trust the rating & review here. It’s totly worth it! Despite the long wait, the mujaer nyat-nyat & sambal matah here is a chef kiss. The aunty is the cashier & the chef herself - everything she does alone here, which explains the long wait. However, she is such a lovely auntie. So please you should try to eat here!!!! The price is also reasonable

The food stall was a bit quiet but the food tasted amazing, and they don’t skimp on the spices. The owner is friendly. One portion of fish is enough for two people. Since they don’t have many cooks, you can message them to order before coming so you don’t have to wait long.

Amazing food cooked to order. Delicious flavours. It’s a shame the room is not packed with people… great food for a very good price. If we ever go back that way we will definitely stop to eat !

We pulled up and the place was literally EMPTY. So of course we started questioning our life choices like, “Ini beneran jualan gak ya? Padahal review di Google-nya bagus🙂.” We were kinda looking around like lost children, but then the owner uncle came out and told us to wait😃. They only have four menu items and none of the prices are listed. We even checked online beforehand and couldn’t find any price list anywhere, so we were lowkey scared of getting scammed JUJUUUURRRR. When the Ibu warung came out, we asked for the prices and turns out the Mujair Sambal Matah is only 55k and the portion is enough for two people. Rice is 10k per portion. Only 75k in total, quite cheap surprisingly (no tax guys!). We only got one dish since we were planning to hop around and try other places nearby. Now the taste…please hold my hand while I say this. LISTEN TO ME. THE. BEST. MUJAIR. SAMBAL. MATAH. IN MY ENTIRE. MORTAL. EXISTENCE🤤🤌🏻✨ The fish is huge, smoky, and so soft it should be illegal. Super fresh, like it came straight out of the lake. And the sambal matah? BABE. The chopped shallots were generous, the seasoning was insane, the flavor can punched me in the face and I said “thank you.” Kuahnya…gusti nu agung😭😭😭😭…I almost levitated. ENAK BANGET😭🤌🏻✨ If this dish were a man, it would be John Clayton Mayer. ✨ABSOLUTELY PERFECT✨ The Ibu warung is also super kind and so so pretty. We genuinely had such a pleasant experience here. I hope Ibu warung lives a long, legendary, unbelievably blessed life. May Waroeng Dapur 88 prosper FOREVER because I AM returning and I WILL spread the gospel of this mujair sambal matah.
