El Lago was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. The setting is simply breathtaking. Sitting high above Kintamani with uninterrupted views of Mount Batur, it’s one of those places where you find yourself constantly reaching for your camera. The views alone are worth the visit, but thankfully the food more than lives up to the scenery. We enjoyed an incredible lunch overlooking the volcano, and every dish that arrived at the table was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh, creative, and packed with flavour, particularly the specialty rolls which were some of the best we’ve had in Bali. The drinks were equally impressive and complemented the meal perfectly. What really made the experience special was the atmosphere. Despite being a popular destination, it felt relaxed and unhurried. We spent far longer there than planned, simply enjoying the food, the views, and the company of family. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout our visit, adding to what was already a fantastic experience. If you’re visiting Kintamani, don’t make the mistake of treating El Lago as just a viewpoint. It’s a genuinely outstanding restaurant with spectacular food, excellent service, and one of the most memorable dining locations in Bali. A must-visit, and somewhere we’d happily return to on our next trip.
View on GoogleThe view here is absolutely stunning! Overlooking Lake Batur and Mount Batur, it’s definitely worth visiting just to relax and enjoy the scenery. The service is friendly and adds to the overall comfort of the experience. I tried the spicy ramen, sushi, and chicken katsu, but the taste was pretty average—nothing really stood out. Overall, you come here more for the breathtaking view than the food. Still worth a visit if you’re in Kintamani. ✨
View on GoogleOne of my favorite restaurants in Kintamani so far 🤍 The food was delicious and served warm, which I really appreciated. I’ve been to several restaurants around Kintamani before, and usually the food comes a bit cold already haha, so this was definitely a big plus for me. The place is also clean, neat, aesthetic, and very Instagramable. The view makes you want to stay longer and just enjoy the atmosphere. But the most impressive part was definitely the service. Everyone was genuinely friendly from the moment we arrived until we left, and it made the whole experience even better. Best of the best so far among the restaurants I’ve visited in Kintamani. Plus, they’re pet allowed too 🐶✨
View on GoogleThe restaurant views yes. But it's much more ❤️ EXTRAORDINARY FOOD & UNIQUE 5-STAR SERVICE!! Delicious flavorful good-quality food AND the professionalism and kindness of their staff! Everyone working there welcomes you with so much warmth and respect, does their best to meet your needs, and provides super efficient and attentive service. Special shout-out to Ardiani and her team, she took the most scenic photos of us. Her service, smile, humor, and confidence made us feel so cared for ♡ SUKSMA to everyone at El Lago 🌺🙏🏽 Oh, don't hesitate to try their popcorn chicken with salt and pepper, and their Klepon cake (see photo)!
View on GoogleThere is a reason why this place is top-rated. Food is great, service is even more amazing. The view? Worth the trip. You can reserve via Whatsapp a day before or just walk-in (about 10-15 mins wait if place is full). Plenty of seating so nothing to worry about. Accepts Apple Pay. Highly recommended!
