This is, without a doubt, the best Spanish paella I’ve ever had. Having my final meal here before leaving Bali was absolutely worth it. I’m so glad I decided to give this restaurant a chance. The refreshing ginger, mint, and lemon sparkling drink was perfectly balanced, and every dish reflected the chef’s passion and attention to detail. The chef is young, but he has an exceptional sense of taste and remarkable culinary talent. Every flavor was thoughtfully composed and perfectly balanced. It was clear that each dish was prepared with genuine care. I would also encourage the restaurant owner to support this talented young chef by giving him the opportunity to explore more of Spain’s culinary traditions firsthand. I truly believe that this experience would help him elevate his already outstanding skills to an even higher level. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Bali. More than anything, I can’t wait to return and experience the new creations of this gifted young chef. Thank you for such a memorable meal.
View on GoogleI've been to Pescado a few times by now and it has become one my favourite restaurants! Each time I've visited I've ordered something different and each time I am blown away by their flavour, quality and consistency. My favourite dishes have to be their paella and their seafood fettucini, I find myself craving their food all week! Moving on to their dessert there's no words for how their Cremboso dessert has become one of my absolute favourite dinner treats of all time. I highly recommend emptying your stomach and coming here for a full 5 course meal because you won't regret it. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with comfortable seating and great lighting. The staff are always very friendly, warm and attentive. The kitchen is also very accommodating and mindful with any changes or requests.
View on GoogleThe food was absolutely divine. The service from start to finish was attentive and food arrived promptly. I had the Ham Croquet, Garlic prawns and Scallops. Definitely be backbto go try more on the menu.
View on GoogleWhen we arrived, the staff were welcoming and offered us some potato chips with vinegar and paprika to start, which were very tasty. For an appetizer we had olives, cheese, and jamon serrano. I have been to Spain, and to be honest it is not really jamon serrano, but it was not bad, and the cheese and olives were good. After that we each had La Bomba, which was very tasty. I would say it is a bit pricey for the amount of food you get, but the service and the quality were very good. At the end of the meal, they offered us from the house, truffle chocolate and it was delicious.
View on GoogleThis is one of the certified Spanish restaurants in Bali. The other one is Akua in Jimbaran. Pescado has 3 branches, this one, in Ubud, and in Sanur. I went here with my Spanish colleagues, 4 of them, and they liked the foods. They said the tortilla de papas is great, based on the technic of preparation. Just need a bit more salt. The pimientos del piquillo is surprisingly good. We also ordered Cachopo and Croquetas, however I didn’t take the pictures. All great! very recommended if you’re feeling like having a Spanish fare.
