Absolutely wonderful little French restaurant. We have returned back several times. The French Onion Soup and steak sandwich are delicious. The protein bowls are amazing and great value for money. All the food and drinks I have tried have been awesome. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They also sell their own merchandise which is really cute. Oh and the ice cream sundaes are fabulous. Every time I have been a little doggy comes to join me and keep me company! 😍

This hidden gem deserves to be on all the Bali TikTok’s (but I won’t be the one to do it because I selfishly don’t want to have to wait in line to eat my steak). Genuinely think this is some of the best food on the entire island. Absolutely insane flavor, everything was cooked to perfection, and the ambiance was a 10/10. We had the French onion soup, the bone marrow, the steak sandwich, steak frites with peppercorn, Belgian chocolate ice cream and the profiteroles. I’d rate literally every single one of those dishes between 9-10 (the soup and the steak sandwich were beyondddd). One of those meals where you keep looking at each other like 👀 can you believe it’s THIS GOOD?? We also had two mocktails that were divine which we always appreciate. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.

We had an okay lunch at Little Frenchie, not a bad experience, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations. It’s a little hard to pinpoint exactly what was missing, but overall the meal just didn’t hit the way we thought it would. It may have come down to what we ordered, as the steak frites (which we were hoping to try) wasn’t available at the time. We started with the French onion soup, which unfortunately wasn’t to our taste. The grilled assorted seafood was well cooked and nicely flavoured, but the portion was quite small for the price. The standout of the meal was the 72-hour short rib — very tender and probably the best of the dishes we tried. Service was also a bit underwhelming. Nothing particularly wrong, but not especially attentive or memorable either, which impacts the overall experience — especially at this price point. Overall, it was fine, but not somewhere we’d rush back to. That said, it may be worth trying again with different menu choices, as there’s definitely potential there.

Seriously, some of the best food I’ve eaten in a LONG time!! Service was great, our server was very kind. I ordered the French onion soup + the Maison burger. The Maison burger was insanely good! Think a French onion soup but in burger form, highly recommend giving this place a try 🙌

Have you ever had a meal so good you just want to sit down with the chef and find out where they trained? I am still blown away by how incredible this dish was. Not even from just a flavour point, but the attention to detail, the chef's skill and technique. This was honestly the best dish i've had outside of London and Paris. I'm not even one to usually comment on these things but the crispness of the chicken skin, the depth of the jus, the char on the veg, the flavour-packed golden roasted rosemary potatoes. I was honestly 2 trance-like moves away from ordering the exact same meal twice (i genuinely contemplated it). Gutted i'm leaving tomorrow, otherwise i'd hand-on-heart be eating here every night. I've been visiting Bali for 13+ years, multiple times a year, alongside other countries in Europe, SA and Asia. There is no better restuarant in Bali.
