Another great diner at Genius Bistro. My wife Denise found this delicious, cozy and comfortable restaurant through good reviews on social media. The European country style architecture, spacious interior and Spanish French music makes you feel home. The menu contains a variety of fresh dishes from the France, Spanish, Italian and German kitchen at affordable prices. We enjoyed the charcuterie plate with delicious sorts of ham to start with. For the main course we decided for steak tartare and a creme brulee to finish our Saturday evening diner. All dishes were exceptional with compliments to the “French Chef de Cuisine”. The best of our Genius Bistro visit was the service by 2 young gentlemen, not only very friendly but well trained in serving dishes and what hospitality means. I love the cosy and homely kind of feel here. The French onion soup and steak were so good. And the sauce on point. Is not easy to find such good French style sauce steak around! Great service too!

This place is extraordinary! 10 of 10 dinner. High Class service and perfect food. Super nice ambiente, we came again the next day for breakfast. I can not understand why there are so less people here. Come here you will not regret its really quiet and nice.

Very helpful, friendly and polite staff. Food was very authentic and delicious. The duck confit was even better than the one I had in France. Some dishes like pasta even have small/large portion to choose from. Drinks tasted great too. It’s nice and quiet. Feel like being in a bistro in France. Thank you team!

I had the great luck of visiting this place back in September 2023 but I didn't have the time to write a review. My experience was so exceptional, I feel I have to say something nice about this place. We arrived at our hotel late at night and we were hungry, our hotel said recommended this place said they have a discount deal with this place and we didn't really have any alternative so we gave it a shot. We ordered the duck and just wow. It was so extraordinary, and not just the food but also the chef himself, the staff, the atmosphere and all the service, even though we had only 10 days at Bali, we went back for the seconds the next day instead of trying something new. The next time we went in the chef recognized us right away and didn't even try to hide his joy. I tried my first ever onion soup and wagyu beef, and they were also top notch. Deserts are also great. After the meal we had a quick chat with the chef, he is one of the most friendly people I came across. TL;DR: If you have the slightest opportunity definitely do come here and experience the paradise in your mouth. One of the most memorable experiences of a lifetime.
