Had breakfast at Baro last weekend and really enjoyed it. Such a nice spot for a slow weekend brunch in Pererenan. The place has a really nice open-air vibe, the food was so good, and everything felt fresh. I also loved the cocktails, and the sourdough ice cream was such a fun surprise 😭 didn’t expect to like it that much! The staff were really lovely too. Definitely a place I’d come back to for all day dining, and I’d love to try their dinner next time too 🤍
View on GoogleHad a great meal here! The Nashville chicken was flavorful with a nice spicy kick, and the pickle pairing worked perfectly. The banana tea and sesame tea dessert was amazing. The flavors were unique and well-balanced, and the variety of textures made every bite especially enjoyable. Every element worked together beautifully without being overly sweet. The pizza also had a beautifully crispy crust and great flavour. Definitely worth a visit!
View on GoogleWe ordered dinner from Baro via Grab this evening. We got the cornbread, roasted chicken, pork on collard greens, oxtail pizza and mashed potatoes. It arrived nicely packaged with clear labels and as requested. The chicken was absolutely delicious, seasoned perfectly and the sauce was incredible. Equally the pork was cooked well, super tasty and the greens were also seasoned very well. The pizza did arrive slightly cool so could have been hotter however tasted good. Mash was good and I liked the crispy topping. However, the star of the show for us for the cornbread. Me and my partner enjoy fine dining quite a bit and have dined at many different restaurants across the world and genuinely this bread would not be out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant and even in that setting would stand out - fluffy, soft, sweet bread with crispy corn baked into it, butter insanely tasty and salty and contrasted to the bread perfectly. This place is actually amazing, hands down the best food we have ever had delivered from anywhere- we are so impressed. 100% recommend to anyone either wanting a dine in meal or as a takeout
View on Googlei added this place as my new weekend brunch spot ✨ Everything we ordered was a hit. The Caesar salad was so fresh and crunchy, the chicken & waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the portion was seriously massive. The sourdough ice cream was the perfect way to end the meal. And don't skip the Piposa specialty drink! It's light, refreshing, subtly sweet, and honestly one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. Great food, generous portions, and such a nice vibe for a slow weekend brunch. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. 🤍
View on GoogleMy current favorite restaurant in Pererenan! Baro may be well known for its bakery, but their dinner menu is just as impressive. I've been here four times over the past four months, and every visit has been consistently amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. I first came back after seeing their grilled cornbread on Instagram, and it was worth the trip, it was so good! Their fish dishes are some of my favorites, and I also highly recommend the Cajun prawns, soft-shell crab, half chicken, and the stracciatella pizza. Dessert is something I never skip here. I always order the sourdough ice cream. Since they're famous for their sourdough, I was curious, but I didn't expect it to pair so perfectly with olive oil. It sounds unusual, but it works beautifully. The restaurant is just a short walk from the beach, making it a perfect spot for dinner after sunset. The interior is stunning, with a beautiful bar, cozy outdoor seating, and an open kitchen where you can watch the pizzas being made. They also have comfortable indoor seating with air con. Every meal starts with a complimentary welcome drink and mushroom vinegar chips. I can't remember exactly what was in the drink, but it was incredibly refreshing and such a nice touch. The staff are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. They explain the menu well and make the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. After four visits, Baro is still one of my favorite dinner spots in Pererenan, and I'll definitely keep coming back.
