We love restaurant hunting in new areas and Bar Vera impressed us so much we visited twice during our stay in Canggu. And both times we were served by Dewi 🫶 whose service was super attentive, absolutely lovely, so welcoming and she gave us such brilliant menu & wine recommendations the first time we visited! The food is incredible, I can’t recommend more if you’re looking for a relaxed, luxurious evening spent in great company and great service 💖 Thank you so much Dewi! Everything they said about the potato bread was REAL. I almost contemplated 20 mins bike ride from Seminyak just to eat this again, because it was THAT good. I found myself thinking about the potato bread everyday I was in Bali, and a month later. The banana dessert hits all the sweet spots I didn’t know I had. Especially after the savoriness of the pork dish. Service was a solid 4.5 stars. Don’t get me wrong; I just felt it wouldn’t be fair to the exceptional hospitality at another place that I just gave 5 stars.

It was a perfect evening. The music, atmosphere, and food were all exceptional. It was wonderful to discover a place with such a distinctive ambience in Bali. The wine presentation was excellent, as was the thoughtful way the cutlery and dishes were served. If you are visiting Canggu, Bali, I highly recommend stopping by for a memorable evening. Amazing time at Bar Vera. Ordered the duck salami, potato bread, chicken with an additional side of charred cabbage. I had high expectations with the potato bread from the reviews but I wish I got the goats cheese beignets instead. Everything was perfectttt. A bit noisy with the traffic outside since it’s an open air restaurant so maybe just plan to go when it’s not rush hour.

Beautiful place for dinner - the wait staff are very attentive and the food was perfect. We came here for steak frites night on Tuesday and ordered other small plates and drinks. Highly recommend
