First they didn't have 3 main dish items on their menu. So when the waitress said my first option was not available, I then looked for a plan B. Only to be disappointed when the waitress came back and said that option was also not available. My friend also ordered something and that also turned out not be available. This is a problem because their main menu list is not that long. Secondly I ordered a ginger tea. And what I received was black tea with ginger! I did not order black tea. Very upsetting experience.

Food tastes ok. I ordered chicken with sambal matah

An aok restaurant inside Ngurah Rai Airport. They serve Indonesian food, and a decent one at that. Located very near to the domestic boarding area, you will find that the Indonesian food is reasonably priced. Taste is aok, and quite consistent.

We arrived early because we had a flight at 5am, asked if we could have breakfast and they said yes. Looked at the menu and asked for scrambled eggs with vegetables and toasts that were at the menu at 54000 rupias but they said they couldn't do it at that hour, don't know why. So, we asked only for the toasts and coffee. At the end we ended up paying 40.000 rupias for the toasts alone. Only gave us receipt because we paid with card, because they showed us the bill in a simple plain paper written by hand.

EDIT: 2 days after eating here, I experienced a week of painful diarrhea. The food was clearly wheeled in from somewhere else and not made fresh in the restaurant. It was probably sitting out for a while in the heat. Food is mediocre. Terrible service. Waited 45 minutes Nasi Campur and Gado Gado when they told us it would be a 20 minute wait. They didn't even have most menu items. Do not recommend.
