Absolutely amazing resort! Every room is a stunning private villa with its own swimming pool and jacuzzi, making the experience feel truly luxurious. The main pool area is fantastic, and the restaurant is excellent, especially with the beautiful ocean breeze creating the perfect atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with anything you need. If you’re dreaming of a tropical paradise getaway this resort is the perfect choice. I would definitely stay here again!

We had the best experience from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. The location was brilliant, very central with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and markets for us to look around only a short walk away. The hotel itself was pure luxury and situated on the beach. The atmosphere was relaxing and calm with the most amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The grounds of the hotel were kept to such a high standard, clean and inviting with all the wonderful gardens and plants. We stayed in a courtyard villa which wasn’t on the main site but just across the road. We had a buggy on offer if we needed it to take us back and forth, but the walk was only 2/3 minutes and it was lovely to walk through and see some of the locals. Our room was delightful, very spacious and well kept. The services the hotel provided and the staff attention to details made our first trip to Bali a memorable one and the food was just outstanding. The breakfast was to die for. I can not recommend this hotel enough, it was just a dream. Thank you to you all for making our honeymoon experience so special. We will be returning.

Stay away from this hotel. Our experience at 5 Star Hotel Samya was disappointing from the very beginning. The negative impression started the moment we arrived no one assisted us with our luggage, which is unacceptable for a property claiming five-star service standards. At the front desk, the welcome was minimal and unprofessional. The staff barely greeted us, maintaining a flat expression throughout the interaction. Although we were handed a welcome drink, the receptionist told us, “Go to your room, we will bring your drinks to finish it there.” The tone and delivery made it feel as though we were being rushed away rather than welcomed. It came across as dismissive and inhospitable. We had informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary, yet there was no note, no flowers, no acknowledgment whatsoever upon arrival. For a hotel that claims five-star standards, this lack of attention to detail was extremely disappointing. The room itself was actually quite nice spacious and well-designed. However, any positive impression was quickly overshadowed the next morning when we woke up to extremely loud, continuous construction noise nearby. The hammering was relentless and completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. They initially tried to move us, but the options offered felt like clear downgrades either a smaller pool area or a villa with no sun exposure. Eventually, after wasting our time and energy going back and forth, they moved us to another villa across the street that was similar in style to ours. We can only hope this one is free from the noise. As for our anniversary, they finally sent flowers but only after we complained to the manager. By then, the gesture felt forced and too late to make up for the poor handling of the situation. Overall, I give this hotel a big fat zero for service. The property may look appealing, but the hospitality and overall guest experience fell far below what anyone should expect from a five-star hotel.

We loved our stay at the Samaya, it is a magnificent resort in a great location in Seminyak on the beach. The villas are spacious, very comfortable king bed and each with a good size private pool. The main pool area is beautiful, the Breeze restaurant serves great breakfasts and does good cocktails. The staff are incredibly helpful and nice, couldn't be made to feel more welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to return here again, love it

Beachfront hotel amazing sunsets spacious villa and attentive staff. Breakfast has no set hours and you can choose items from the extensive menu at Breezes restaurant or in your villa. The courtyard villas are more spacious but across the road in a separate compound. We chose the beach side and glad we did. The spa is ocean facing with the background noise of crashing waves. The restaurant is well priced for Seminyak but worth it just for front row sunsets. Each villa has a butler if required but we did not utilise as spent our time just relaxing beach side. Shuttles are available into Seminyak on request. There was a wedding ceremony during our stay which did not interfere with our pool access or amenities. Loved our stay and now planning our return trip.
