Lovely food, lovely service - recommend ! Was a bit doubtful about Japanese food in Bali - but sushi and miso soup was tasty - which is always our minimum - if they can’t get these right, we seek to avoid - but miso was tasty (maybe a tiny bit salty, but plenty of flavour) and salmon had a great flavour. We shared a few appetizers and some sushi and cocktails - 2 for 1 for most hours of the day. Enjoyed it all. Service was impeccable - so friendly and patient as we decided on our choices. Price was reasonable. Noticed they had advertisements about live music - so sorry we missed this, as can see this would be fun - I believe it’s late Friday’s nights. They have a mix of seating arrangements - including tatami dining and table seating.
View on GoogleLove the outdoor area in the evening, overlooking busy street of Seminyak. Music ok, food delicious, friendly service. Sushi flesh was thick and mouthful. Yakitori great. They have selection of beers and good Cocktail.

View on GoogleRyoshi House Of Jazz 4 ★★☆☆☆ Ryoshi House of Jazz has a strong concept on paper — Japanese cuisine paired with live jazz in an intimate setting. The atmosphere, particularly upstairs during live performances, does create a cosy and slightly nostalgic vibe. The music itself is enjoyable and clearly the highlight of the experience. However, the overall visit felt inconsistent. While the ambience aims for relaxed sophistication, the space can feel cramped and somewhat dated. Seating arrangements are tight, and during busy evenings it becomes noisy in a way that detracts from both conversation and the music. The food was acceptable but not memorable. Sushi and grilled dishes were presented well enough, yet the flavours lacked depth compared to other Japanese restaurants in the Seminyak area. Considering the pricing, expectations were higher. Service was polite but not especially attentive, with noticeable waiting times during peak hours. Ryoshi may still appeal to those primarily seeking live jazz in a casual environment, but as a complete dining experience it did not fully live up to its reputation.
View on GoogleThe tempura is amazingly good, crispy and not oily. The best to dip it in the soba soup. The staffs are friendly n nice
