The crispy pork was perfectly cooked, with a deliciously crunchy texture. The sambal matah was generously served with plenty of sliced shallots, giving it a fresh and aromatic flavor. Despite the generous portion, it wasn't overly spicy, making it enjoyable for most palates.
View on GoogleI always make a point to visit Warung Cahaya whenever I’m in Bali. They have one of the best sambal matah I’ve tried. This time I ordered the pork belly with sambal matah, and it was excellent. The pork belly was crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and very savory and rich. The sambal matah was fresh, aromatic, and packed with flavor. The portion was also generous. They didn’t hold back on the pork or the sambal, and it was more than enough to leave me completely satisfied. The ambience isn’t really the highlight. It’s a humble, simple warung, and it’s not the kind of place where you linger for hours. But honestly, that’s fine with me because the food is what matters here. You come, enjoy a great meal, and go. The serving time was also quite fast, which I appreciate. Overall, the food alone makes it worth the visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again on my next trip to Bali.
View on GoogleOrdered nasi goreng crispy pork belly and crispy pork belly sambal matah. The crispy pork belly was sooo delicious! Not to mention the matah, they were so perfect together. However the fried rice (nasi goreng) was just okay, too bad because the pork itself was already nice. It was plain and too bland for a nasi goreng. Will def come back for another crispy pork belly but not for the fried rice.
View on GoogleI came here for lunch with a friend at Warung Cahaya and had a good experience. The food was tasty, the ambience was nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have to wait for a table, which was a bonus. Overall, it was a nice place to enjoy a relaxed lunch.
View on GoogleThe food is quite pricey if only see the price, BUT IT IS WORTH THE VALUE. the portion, the taste, the crispy pork belly is the bestttt! Eventhough the sambal is not hot at all for me. Will come back again and will recommend this place to my friends.
