Awesome pork satay! Amazing sauce, soft pork; actually addictive. Huge place with lots of seating, parking, and stalls. Ordered a few for takeout, huge quality shift, considering takeouts don’t have to be fresh anyways. Great nasi campur, not as good as samsam merekak but not as expensive as well. Fried rice isn’t good but it’s cheap as well.
View on GoogleOne of my first food stops when arriving in Bali was Sate Babi Bawah Pohon. My friend and I went straight here for a quick takeaway to enjoy back at the hotel. We kept it simple and ordered their basic pork satay (20 skewers). The satay was super flavorful — the meat was nicely marinated, giving it that perfect balance of sweet, savory, and slightly smoky from the grill. Each skewer had a good mix of lean and slightly fatty meat, making it juicy and tender with every bite. What I really liked is how well the seasoning seeps into the meat, so it’s already tasty even without extra sauce. But when paired with their sambal, it adds a nice kick and makes it even more addictive. It’s one of those simple dishes that’s done really well — no frills, just really good satay. Perfect first meal to kick off a Bali trip 🍢✨
View on GoogleTHE BEST BABI MEAL EVER😭🩷 even the vacuum menu was still taste good after a week in freezer. Also the prices were very CHEAP!! Highly recommended for pork lovers🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 And also additional for the staffs! They're so nice and helpful. Even when i skipped one food due to error, they're still serving it very fast 🫶🏻
View on GoogleWe ordered 3 portions of meat, 2 portions of rice, 2 glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice, and 1 portion of vegetables, all very delicious. The grilled chicken skewers are probably a local specialty. The grilled pork was slightly sweet but very flavorful, and the roasted pork was crispy but a bit chewy; we weren't very impressed. Everyone should try it! The total was 180,000 Indonesian Rupiah, quite cheap.
