What a beautiful restaurant, the food was fresh & had lots of flavour! I had the Thai Beef salad. Cocktails were delicious! It was lovely to have wonderful service sitting in a lovely environment. We will be back! Special thanks to our waiter Edi & waitress Natasha

The food was absolutely brilliant, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The manager Wira is amazing and clearly doing a great job leading such a friendly, caring team. Everyone checked in to make sure everything was perfect and even asked about allergies, which I really appreciated. Thank you to the whole team for making the experience so warm and enjoyable. The food at Makan Place was delicious and full of flavour, so credit where it’s due. However, the portion sizes were quite disappointing. I ordered the tiger prawns as my main meal and only received two prawns, which left me feeling pretty underwhelmed. I also ordered the calamari as a starter, but the serving was so small that I’m not sure why it’s listed on the menu at all. It certainly wouldn’t have been enough for a main, and even as a starter it was very modest. The quality of the food was good, but the portion sizes didn’t match the prices or expectations. If they increased the serving sizes, it would be a much better dining experience.

This was our first time eating here and we were genuinely impressed. The food was outstanding rich in flavour and presented beautifully. I especially loved the slow cooked Rendang Beef Brisket, it was absolutely delicious. The team was friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back again.

We came here because was highly reviewed, and it didn’t disappoint! We order the Chicken Gyoza, Kyoto Hummus (a very delightful taste sensation) Tiger Prawns, Salmon. Also had a Negroni each which was the best we’ve had on this trip. We were served by Wulan who explained everything for us, and was just lovely.
