Donbiu at Padma Resort Legian offers an exceptional dining experience in a beautiful setting. The food is consistently excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes prepared with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for both special occasions and casual meals. The staff are professional, friendly, and provide outstanding service from start to finish. Combined with the stunning surroundings of the resort, Donbiu is a must-visit restaurant in Legian. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleWhen I was having trouble ordering because I didn't understand English, Tu.EKA kindly explained things to me using translation apps and even let me sample wines, so I was able to order my favorite drinks and dishes. The salmon, sea bream, oysters, and steak were all delicious, and the buffet was just as good as the main dishes. All the staff members were smiling and provided attentive service, making it a very comfortable and wonderful evening!! Terima kasih:)
View on GoogleDonbiu at Padma resort in Legian Asian Buffet night on Friday the 31st of October was a beautiful dining experience. As you walk in everything is setup so beautifully. As we walked through we were briefly shown what foods were available to eat that evening. There was a huge variety of Asian dishes from Indian to Japanese to Singapore dishes and I am sure other countries in between. The tables are big a decent sized so you will not feel squished when taking a seat. Everything is arranged so the foods are easily accessible. There is also a variety of desserts suah as cakes even fruit salad. You can start dining at 6pm and then they have their first cultural dance at 6:45pm. Which was a fire dance. Then the next dance is roughly around 10-15 mins after which gives the dancers time to change their costumes. The second dance was a ribbon dance from China. Then the third dance was a traditional Balinese Dance. At the end of the dance they invite guests to come along and join in on Balinese dancing. Then at the end of dancing they invite guests to take photos together with the dancers. Our server was Bayu and he was very attentive checking in on us asking if the foods were all good and if there was anything else we needed. He also became very friendly with our 4 yo son and joined in friendly conversations with him. We are a family of 5 so the variety was a good selection for each of our family members.
View on GoogleOur first time in Bali with two coeliac kids and booked Padma Legian based on the recommendations. We were not disappointed!! The staff and the hospitality is next level. We were so well cared. They are well aware of coeliac requirements. Highly recommend talking to Chef Sutar for breakfast. My kids got chocolate donuts, pancakes, waffles with separate chocolate sauce and chocolate chips and yumm cakes. Nothing was given to us from the shared buffet. If we liked something from buffet they quickly whipped it out for us. The best was having warm chicken noodles soup. For lunches and dinner we ate at Donbiu restaurant and they were soooo good. Highly recommend talking to Chef Puja. He made us popcorn chicken and chips and my boys asked for it every day. He also made chicken lollipops, delicious curries and rice. Can do chips, burgers, Pad Thai, chicken satay, nasi goreng and pizzas and more. We used to pre-order but sometimes even just 30 minutes notice was good enough. All the staff are so kind and welcoming! Special mention to Aditya who made sure that we got the right food and attention. Can’t wait to go back! Picture of Chef Puja, shared with permission.
View on GoogleWhile staying at Padma, we booked a cooking class at the Donbiu. Highly recommend. We chose the mixed meat satay class with banana fritters. Chef Agus took us through the ingredients while he explained the recipe and the 4 of us got hands on with making, chicken lamb and pork satays. We all got to eat what we made then chef Adel took us through the recipe to make banana fritters. The 4 of us thorougly enjoyed the classes and highly recommend this experience if you are after something different. Rini and Citra provided excellent service throughout and helped video us while we cooked.
