Amazing experience. The service is totally fine. Grilling is good and the marinate used is so delicious. We loved it. Would definitely go again. Prices is so cheap.
View on GoogleA fantastic experience. 100% authentic, local, and beautiful. First, you buy your fish and seafood at the local market. Then you go to the warung and bring it to them. They clean it and prepare it for grilling. Then it's grilled. After grilling, they plate it, season it, and serve it with rice and green vegetables. Our fish and seafood were excellent. Thank you for this experience. You are so welcoming and helpful. We already know we'll be coming to this market and the local warungs every evening during our stay in Jimbaran.
View on GoogleI wanted to experience both buying fresh seafood and having it cooked on-site. First thing to note, the fish market has different prices for locals and foreigners, so be prepared for that. After getting the seafood, we headed to one of the stalls for grilling. Luckily, since it was around lunchtime, there weren’t many people, so the wait time was short. The atmosphere isn’t the best, and cleanliness is pretty basic, but that’s expected in a place like this. The grilling turned out great, the food was tasty, and the boy handling the grill was really helpful and kind. We also bought fresh juice from a nearby shop. Keep in mind that they only accept cash, so bring enough with you. We didn’t have enough, and the griller even offered his motorcycle so we could get to the nearest ATM, which was a kind gesture. Overall, it was a unique experience. If you don’t mind the strong fishy smell from the nearby market, it’s definitely worth trying.
View on GoogleThis is my favorite underrated dating spot (yes, really 😄). It’s a simple warung near the fish market, along the busy Kedonganan street where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. But somehow, this place has its own magic that keeps me coming back. Here’s how it works: you can buy fresh seafood directly from the market, bring it here, and ask them to cook it for you. The cooking service is affordable (around 20k/kg). True, some of the fancier restaurants nearby even offer cheaper cooking fees, but the charm of this place makes it worth it. It’s a small warung, often crowded. And yes, you might need to queue and wait quite a while for your food. But that’s part of why I call it my favorite dating spot. Try coming around sunset: the view of the pier, the bustling crowds, the golden sky, planes taking off, sometimes even a local band walking around singing old songs — it all feels simple yet so memorable. I love just sitting here, talking, and soaking it all in 🧡 The food? Delicious. Honestly, even tastier and more generous with spices compared to the fancier places. My go-to favorites are Kakap Merah Bakar (Grilled Red Snapper), Cumi Goreng Tepung (Crispy Fried Calamari), and Kerang Kepah Bakar (Grilled Clams). I’ve been here countless times and always find myself coming back. Anyway, no need to worry if you don’t carry cash, they accept bank transfer. Sorry I don’t have proper photos.. Always too busy enjoying my time whenever I come here haha.
View on GoogleGreat staff and great food!! Everything we bought from the fish market they grilled to perfection! Super friendly, and although smaller than the other two shops around, I highly recommend!!! We went back again the next day for more.
