Lovely place. The seafood is fresh and delicious, but what I liked the most is the vibe, the atmosphere. You eat seaside, which is really nice (as long as it doesn’t rain!) and there’s a band who sings and takes requests. Best of all, the staff is honest. I left something behind at the restaurant but they had it delivered to me. Great place.

Unfortunately, this was the worst restaurant we visited during our Bali trip. We only went there because it was included by our tour guide for the Uluwatu Kecak dance, which honestly felt like it was done for commission or some similar reason. From the start, we were disappointed with how our order was handled. A lady who spoke Japanese came to our table immediately and was extremely pushy, insisting that we order an expensive set menu. She didn’t give us any time to properly look at the menu and kept repeating “oishii” (meaning “yummy” in Japanese). It felt very rushed and uncomfortable. We ordered set B and drinks, and later realized that some drinks were already included in the food menu, but she never mentioned this. We had to ask ourselves, which was frustrating and unprofessional. The worst part, however, was the food quality. It was honestly the worst food we’ve had in 2025. We travel a lot and eat in many different countries, so we feel confident judging food quality. Apart from the fish, the seafood was very low quality. Everything was overcooked, lacked flavor, and felt like it was prepared with no care or passion for food. I especially feel bad for Japanese tourists who are brought here, and I truly hope this lady does not pressure them the same way she did to us. If you are going to charge such high prices in Bali, please start serving food that matches the cost and shows proper quality and love. Thanks & Tarima Kashi 🙏

The sound of gentle waves, the soft glow of candlelight, and the warm breeze brushing against your skin, it all feels as if time has slowed down just for you. There’s sth truly magical about having dinner by the sea in Bali As the sun slowly disappears beyond the horizon and the moon rises high, its silver light dances across the water. The table is set right on the sand, candles flickering like tiny stars. Every detail feels romantic and peaceful, a moment you wish could last forever The soft sand beneath your feet, the soothing sea breeze, the taste of fresh seafood, and the sound of waves. They created the perfect symphony of the night together. In that moment, I truly understood what it means to live in the present Over a candlelit dinner by the sea, you can simply breathe, listen, and fall in love with the world all over again

We bought fresh fish from the nearby market and they cooked them up here in a garlic butter. So delicious! Resonably priced for the beautiful beach dinging in the sand for sunset. Great for large groups or romantic couples. Can walk on the beach for hours. They even held my luggage for an hour before we ate. Wasn’t too busy but it did take over 30 minutes to get food. But we loved the setting so it didn’t matter at all. Not far from airport so it was perfect before a late night flight!

AYU Bali Resto is a fantastic place to enjoy a sunset with one of the best views in the area. The atmosphere is excellent - stylish, relaxed, and perfect for a romantic evening or a chill dinner with friends. As the sun goes down, the whole place lights up with warm colors and becomes seriously magical. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and although it’s a bit on the pricey side, the quality and the view make it absolutely worth it. You’re not just paying for a meal - you’re paying for an unforgettable dining experience. A unique bonus: from the terrace you can even watch aircraft landing in the distance, which adds a cool and surprising touch to the sunset scene. Overall, AYU Bali Resto is a must-visit for great food, amazing ambience, and unforgettable views. Highly recommended! 🌅🍽✨
