When I arrived here for lunch I thought it was closed or staff had abandoned it. No staff to be found for minutes of me standing at the counter and it was just dark inside. I had handmade noodles with soup and crispy pork chop(since crispy pork belly was out), pan fried pork dumplings and a piece of carrot cake. The noddles with soup was delicious as were the dumplings. I was surprised with the carrot cake though as it seemed heated up in the microwave and it had absolutely no cream cheese frosting on it as a carrot cake traditionally does. Prices of all items were very good though. I do wish the staff was a bit more attentive though. I say there for at least 5 minutes trying to get someone’s attention or waiting for eye contact, so I could order dessert. I had to then get up and go to the counter as no one even attempted to check on the 3 guests in the restaurant.

By far our favorite place in Canggu! The best noodles we have ever had, and for a really good price. We stayed in Canggu for almost 2 months and came here 3x a week, this is how hooked we got! Owners and staff are super friendly, plus you can play table tennis while you wait for your food. And don't forget to order the chocolate brownie, it is super delicious!

Delicious food in a very welcoming atmosphere. We had the pumpkin salad (one of the best salads I had in canggu) and the homemade noodles (fabulous) with extra wanton. Portions are generous and everything tastes fresh and clean. Prices are very reasonable too.

As mentioned in the previous reviews, service is almost non-existent. Our whole family entered the cafe, there was no one else, but we still had to order one by one at the counter. Food preparation took a bit long, around 30 minutes so be prepared to wait. Average price of the noodles or rice dish is about 50,000 rp. Coffee at this cafe was surprisingly good. Do ask them for their chilli because it goes well with the noodles. It is a hidden gem if you’re sick of the typical Western cafe in Canggu and looking for a place that serves local food. Don’t order the avocado toast as it took the longest to prepare, and the toast was so rock hard.

At Lena’s Kitchen, we enjoyed a delightful and comforting meal. We arrived at Lena’s Kitchen just before closing, expecting we might be turned away. Instead, the staff warmly welcomed us, showing exceptional hospitality despite the late hour. Their graciousness added to the overall experience, making us feel at ease from the moment we sat down. The combination of delicious food and attentive service, even as the day was ending, made the meal all the more memorable. It was a great reminder of how good service can elevate a dining experience beyond just the food itself which was amazing!
