An outstanding dining experience at Indigo. The Chirashi Tsukiji was beautifully presented with an impressive selection of exceptionally fresh sashimi over perfectly seasoned sushi rice. Every bite highlighted the quality of the seafood, making for a dish that felt both authentic and deeply satisfying. The meal was rounded off with an excellent coffee served alongside dark chocolate - a simple but memorable pairing. Combined with attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere, Indigo stands out as one of Berawa's top Japanese dining destinations. 5/5 Stars Fresh, refined, and highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
View on Google★★★★★ 5/5 — Indigo Christmas Omakase Dinner (24–25 Dec 2025) Indigo absolutely nailed this Christmas omakase. The pacing was smooth, the flavors were clean and thoughtful, and every course felt intentional. Highlights for me: the Zuwaigani (Japanese snow crab) to start was delicate and super refreshing, the Murotsu oyster with wasabi tartare had the perfect bite, and the sashimi selection (especially the chutoro and Hokkaido scallop) was top quality. The negitoro + caviar sushi was a standout simple but luxurious. The char-grilled red snapper was comforting and balanced with the yuzu/dashi notes. I also tried the Hida Gyu A5 add-on and it was 100% worth it rich, tender, and beautifully paired with the sides/sauce. Finished strong with the Hojicha Mont Blanc (so aromatic and not overly sweet) plus the pandoro. Service felt attentive without being intrusive, and the overall vibe was elegant but relaxed. If I had to nitpick: I’d love slightly clearer guidance on the difference between the 6 vs 7 course, but overall it was an amazing experience would definitely come back
View on GoogleMy favorite sushi restaurant in Bali that I bring all my friends and family to. The black miso cod here is identical to the one at nobu and is the star of the show- must order! (iykyk). The spicy salmon and tuna were the best rolls in my opinion, I wasn’t crazy about the unagi roll although I typically love unagi. I think it was the leafy green it’s wrapped in that I wasn’t a fan of- just my personal preference. The miso soup also didn’t taste like standard miso soup (maybe could use more miso flavor), not bad but again not my personal preference. The flan for dessert was also delicious and not too sweet. Overall, everything is worth trying and I will say, the quality of the fish here is unmatched!
View on GoogleI loved this restaurant, first the service from the staff was amazing. The food was incredible. We tried the wagyu and it’s was so good, really tender and a lot of flavour. Would come back for sure.
View on GoogleOne of my absolute favourite restaurants in Bali. The food is simply outstanding — easily some of the best Japanese cuisine I’ve ever had. Everything is consistently excellent: the gyoza, the ceviche, the sushi… each dish is beautifully executed and full of flavour. And the mochi for dessert are honestly the best I’ve ever had. Service can be a little slow at times, but it remains attentive throughout. What really stands out is the presence of the manager, who keeps a close eye on the dining room and adds a very nice personal touch to the experience. The atmosphere is warm and refined, making it a great place for a special dinner or just a quality night out. It’s definitely in my top five restaurants in Bali. The only area that could be improved is the wine list, which doesn’t quite match the level of the food. Overall, an exceptional and very consistent dining experience — highly recommended.
