Great place to get local food. Take note that the amount of food per order can be overwhelming. We order 3 dishes without knowing that one order is almost enough for two people! The place is not air-conditioned, so expect the place to get warmer during lunch time. They have a lot of fans but the weather is just very humid sometimes. Order their iced tea to refresh yourself in the hot weather. Lastly, the staff was so nice to notice us sweating in the head, so they gave us some watermelon bites to refresh ourselves before we left for free!

We have eaten here a few times and intend to go in again before we leave. The food is authentic, really flavoursome. The tuna is fabulous. Daughter loves the pasta, the garlic bread is best ever. Service is fast and so friendly. Food is very fresh and so inexpensive. We love it here.

Walked past every day while we were staying nearby, to other eateries, the french bakery, massage places and other restaurants. It was always empty. Read the reviews on here and it sounded bloody amazing! The sign out the front showed an amazing looking Mega Double beef burger with bacon and a free Bintang on weekends for $13. Thought we'd give it a go! The burger photo looked 2D4 and the online reviews of the restaurant sounded spectacular. The condensation from the drinks made our table like a river the whole time, we were mopping up the liquid the whole time. We ordered the double beef burger and free bintang deal, it took forever to cook and come out to us (a very long wait!), only smelled it cooking 30 minutes after we ordered it at 12 noon, we were the only people in the restaurant so weren't sure why it took so long. We were then served tiny burgers with no bacon, with 2 x 10 cent piece sized beef patties, with a few chips and a small salad on the plate. My husband was so hungry after the mini burger and 10 chips, he actually ate his salad, which I haven't seen him do in the last 15 years ! 😂 The other reviews about the local indo foods looked great, but I wouldn't rate the mini snack 1 bite burger which promised to be something more Jurassic Park sized. Very disappointed. Pretty sure we basically paid for the Bintang, not the burger! Also, no air flow in the restaurant, very dark inside, she turned a fan on for us which didn't do anything. We sat and ran rivers of sweat and had to leave because we were almost passing out from the heat, lack of breeze and sweat. Wouldn't recommend this place for burgers, maybe their local foods are better but we won't be going back, even for the local foods, after this dismal experience. What a shame.

We went here for our very first meal in Bali, and in was one we'll never forget. Everything was good, but the Satay was out of this world. The staff were so friendly it was unbelievable and their service was really great. If you're in the area, you must eat here at least once abd should definitely try the Satay.

The place is smaller than Sobat 2. Both places always have lots of customers. The food is big portions. Near Batu Belig beach, easy to spot. On the left side if you come from Batu Belig beach. The staff are nice, and the food tastes good. The satay is not fresh from the oven but it is totally fresh with the mini grill, lol. Recommended
