I stumbled upon this gem since it was within **easy walking distance** of my hotel, and it turned out to be a fantastic find. The atmosphere is lovely with **authentic Balinese decor** that gives it a very traditional, welcoming feel. One thing to note is that there is **no AC**, so it can get a bit warm for some, but the vibe definitely makes up for it. The **staff are incredibly friendly** and attentive, and the **prices are very reasonable** for the quality of food you get. As for the food—the flavors are spot on. The standout is definitely the **crispy duck**. I’m not sure how they manage it, but the skin is perfectly crispy while the meat remains remarkably **tender and moist** on the inside. Highly recommended if you're looking for great local flavors in a beautiful setting! **Pros:** Excellent crispy duck, friendly service, great value. **Cons:** No air conditioning (can be hot).
View on GoogleAmazing takes on classic Indonesian dishes. We went twice, and tried lots of dishes. Highly recommend this place. Pricier than other places, but you can experience a very technical implementation on the traditional foods of Bali, all executed with perfection. Also, the drinks are quite exceptional.
View on GoogleWe were looking for a place to have dinner and happened to walk past this local Balinese restaurant. Wow what a pleasant surprise! I didn’t expect the food to be this good. We ordered fried duck betutu, chicken betutu, satay, rawon malang, and spring rolls. The restaurant also served complimentary breadsticks and a lime slush before and after the meal, which was a really nice touch. The food was delicious flavorful without being too salty or oily. The sambal was especially amazing, rich in umami and perfect to pair with everything. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive, frequently checking in to see how we were enjoying the food. The only downside was that it felt a bit stuffy dining inside, as the fans weren’t strong enough. This is something that could be improved. Overall, a great dining experience and definitely worth a visit! Will come again back to try other food. Highly recommend!

View on GoogleIf you are looking for authentic Indonesian and Western options on the menu, but the local food is the real star. We walked in for a rather late lunch and were absolutely starving, and this place totally delivered. We ordered the grilled fish and the grilled ribs, and both were incredibly delicious and flavorful. The ribs were so tender, juicy, and perfect with every single bite. We also had cincau and manggo juice. Just perfect. On top of the amazing food, the ambiance has a wonderful, authentic Indonesian feel. We loved it!
