Christmas dinner at My Cocotte Bistrot felt a little special and different in a good way. I liked the warm atmosphere, and the service was friendly, helpful, and fairly quick throughout the evening. The steak was solid, the salad was fresh, and the beef in the claypot dish really stood out to me. I’d happily come back for another meal here.

Having Christmas dinner here is a very unique experience for me and my girlfriend. Service was awesome, helpful, friendly and relatively quick. Food was awesome, we tried their steak, salad, some delicious beef in a claypot dish I cant recall the name and their chocolate cake and ice cream. We chose to sit outdoors in a pleasant weather night with rare Bali cool breeze, the vibe was good. Inside, they have huge screen with funky furnitures and decor which was fun. In the middle of our dinner we use their foosball table and doll claw machine, it’s like they managed to fit everything into this medium sized restaurant. A night to remember for us.

Ordered French onion soup was good, not great and not too salty as another reviewer stated. Guess I was lucky. Oysters with the red wine mignonette were on point, fresh, and well presented. Duck confit was a touch salty, could have had a stronger duck flavor from a properly preserved duck leg in rendered duck fat and herbs. Nice crisp skin to the duck confit, not bad necessarily but could be better. Not a complaint, just an observation. The vegetable medley the duck came with were nice, green beans, corn, roasted potatoes, carrots and cauliflower. The vegetables were not overcooked, could have used a touch more seasoning but that was easily solved with the pepper mill and Himalayan sea salt on the table. A nice touch in my opinion would have been to roast the potatoes in a little duck fat. Friendly and attentive service, and would return again.

Delicious, well priced food, wonderful service and a good vibe to the place. We ordered the bolognese tagliatelle, the half chicken, the chocolate mousse and the crème brûlée. All were absolutely delicious. The crème brûlée in particular was very surprisingly a ginormous portion (good surprise obviously). Also, bonus points for the beautiful friendly black dog around the place! Will definitely return.

Every dish was perfect and really good prices. I'm not french but the first try of the Baba au rhum actually gave me shivers and automatically made me drop a tear, and that made my french girlfriend emotional too 😂. So good. And I didn't expect the creme bruleé portion to be that big, good surprise. We also tried the pâté de campagne, cassoulet and soupe à l'oignon, and all 1000% approved by a french as "childhood level
