The place is really unique. Came here with my husband and a group of seven friends, and it’s definitely great for groups. They have a wide selection of board games you can rent. We tried Jaipur, Codenames, Flip 7, and Seven Wonders — honestly, all new to me 😂 They also have a gamemaster who helps explain the rules, which makes everything much easier to follow, so we ended up spending hours here. The food was surprisingly comforting. We tried the Currywurst sausage and coconut milkshake — such a great combo to enjoy while playing. Definitely will come again for the food and experience.
View on GoogleThis was my last meal in Bali, and it was surprisingly good! The space is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a really relaxed vibe. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I’m not usually a coffee person, but I actually enjoyed their dirty coffee—it was more milky and easy to drink. We didn’t have much time to explore the board game area, which is a pity, but I’d love to come back again next time.
View on GoogleFinally made it back to Downtime Cafe after almost a year! This place has always been my favorite board game spot, and it’s still just as great as I remembered. The game collection is incredibly complete—you’ll never run out of options. But honestly? The food!! It’s crazy how good it is. Whether you're here to play or just eat, it's 10/10. So glad to be back!
View on GoogleGood breakfast and friendly people. Customers playing card games can be noisy but that’s the vibe here. If you’re looking for something like that then you will be fine.
View on GoogleOne of Bali’s hidden gems. It’s discouraging to enter if you want to sit outside because there are only a few tables outside but there’s a whole backyard with many tables. The service is perfect. The waiters are super polite and helpful. They have some of the best food you can have in a café with original articles like the scrambled eggs quesadillas or the chicken confit salad. Perfect for anyone who wants a peaceful place to have their morning tea. Ps: they have an amazing tea collection and a gift shop inside the café and a hidden upper space perfect for group gatherings.
